Note

NEW from Summer 2025: For all guests staying in the state of Salzburg from May 1, 2025, there will be a new levy called the "Mobility Levy". The fee will be collected alongside the local tax per overnight stay and will be used to improve transportation infrastructure. In return, all guests will receive free use of public transport in their holiday destination. The levy must be paid regardless of whether public transport is used.
