Spend a unique holiday in Flachau. Hotel Montanara (approx. 900 m above sea level) is located about 800 m from the center. Cafés and restaurants can be reached in approx. 100 m, the nearest shops are about 400 m from your holiday accommodation. The nearest attraction (Eisriesenwelt) is about 20 km away. In your holiday resort, approximately 2.5 km away, the picturesque Reitecksee awaits all water lovers. You can also cool off on hot summer days at the public outdoor pool in Radstadt, about 12.5 km away. In Altenmarkt, about 5 km away, the public thermal spa Amadé invites you to enjoy a bath regardless of the weather. Only about 100 m from the hotel there is a leisure park with a tennis court and a summer toboggan run. In summer, the hotel is the ideal starting point for extensive hikes and bike tours. A hiking bus (free of charge) will take you to the extensive Griesskareck hiking area, about 50 m away, with a total hiking trail network of approx. 370 km and the "Wasser bewegt" hiking trail. The hiking bus stop is approx. 300 m away. You can also reach the Star Jet 1 & 2 cable cars after about 1 km. Due to its special location, your holiday resort is ideal for cyclists. On a cycle path approx. 850 m away and with an extensive total cycle path network of about 1500 km, you can let off steam.

Facilities

The comfortable 4-star Alpine Gourmet Hotel Montanara offers, in addition to a total of 34 rooms, a welcoming reception hall with seating, a reception, a lounge, a terrace and an e-bike charging station, mountain bike and e-bike rental, as well as a beautiful wellness area (approx. 200 m²) with, among other things, a Finnish sauna, bio sauna, steam bath and infrared cabin. For your culinary well-being, a breakfast room, a restaurant and the hotel bar as well as a Stüberl are available. Cyclists can use the hotel's own lockable bicycle storage room. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.

The rooms consist of two bedrooms separated by a connecting door, each with a double bed and a folding bed or 2 fixed single beds.
