Location

The Hotel Gut Unterhof in the Filzmoos region is ideal for an active holiday. It is located approximately 500 m from the center with its cafes and restaurants. The nearest point of interest (Eisriesenwelt Werfen) is about 30 km away. For cooling off, there is an outdoor pool (approx. 12 km) or a thermal spa (approx. 16 km). Just about 600 m from the hotel, you'll find the Filzmoos leisure park with a fun court and bowling alleys, as well as indoor and outdoor pools. In summer, the hotel is the perfect starting point for extensive hiking and cycling tours. The Filzmoos hiking area with a total network of approximately 20 km of trails is located directly behind the hotel. The Großbergbahn cable car is only about 200 m away.

Facilities

The family-friendly 4-star Hotel Gut Unterhof offers a welcoming lobby with seating areas, a reception, a lounge, and a wine cellar, in addition to its 53 units. The accommodation consists of a main building and an annex, both connected underground. Culinary delights can be enjoyed in the restaurant and the "Bauernstube" parlour, or you can end the day with a nightcap in the hotel's public bar. A terrace and a garden are also available for relaxation. Cyclists can make use of the hotel's lockable bicycle storage room. Smoking is permitted only in designated areas.

The traditionally furnished and modern "Bergwelt" type rooms (approx. 25m²) feature a double bed, safe, heating, balcony, cable TV, telephone, minibar (for a fee), and Wi-Fi. The bathroom includes a shower, separate toilet, hairdryer, bathrobe, and slippers (free of charge) (DBK).

Comfort Double Room Mountain World Plus

With otherwise similar amenities, these rooms are larger (approx. 30m²) and offer a double bed plus a sofa bed for 1 person. There is also a seating area with a desk (DKO).

Comfort Room Country Enjoyment

These rooms offer mountain, valley, or garden views and are even more spacious (approx. 35m²), featuring a double bed and a sofa bed for 2 people. The bathroom has either a bathtub or a shower. Otherwise, they are equipped similarly to the other rooms (C2).

Notice

NEW from Summer 2025: For all guests staying in the state of Salzburg from May 1, 2025, there will be a new levy, the "Mobility Tax".
