As soon as winter arrives, Bruck an der Glocknerstraße is a winter wonderland. The snow-covered landscape can be admired especially well on a leisurely winter hike. The Zell am See Christmas market, about 6 km away, invites you to a contemplative gathering with pre-Christmas music and various delicacies.
In summer, the hotel is the ideal starting point for hikes. A hiking area is located directly behind the hotel. The Schmittenhöhebahn cable car is about 8 km away.

The Hotel Lukasmayr, partially renovated in 2020 (some rooms), is a 3-star hotel offering 51 units. It features a welcoming lobby with seating areas and a reception. Enjoy culinary delights in the restaurant and a traditional Stüberl. You can end an eventful day of vacation in good company at the hotel bar. A terrace is also available for relaxation. Cyclists can use the hotel's lockable bicycle storage room. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.

Especially in winter:
Schmitten-Zell am See ski resort: Altitude: approx. 750 - 1,965 m. This winter sports area with its wide slopes is considered an Eldorado for snowboarders and skiers and features beginner lifts, a race course, and Wi-Fi hotspots. Various restaurants and, of course, après-ski options provide social interaction off the slopes and warm drinks and food. The Schmitten snow park also promises a lot of fun.
