As soon as winter arrives, Bruck an der Glocknerstraße reveals its winter splendor. The snow-covered landscape can be admired especially well on a cozy winter hike. Approximately 6 km away, Zell am See Christmas market invites you to a contemplative get-together with pre-Christmas music and all sorts of delicacies.
Specifically in winter:
In winter, the accommodation is particularly suitable for alpine skiers. A free ski bus (according to the timetable on site) will take you directly to the Zell am See-Schmittenhöhe ski area (from Christmas onwards). The ski bus stop is located directly at the house. The Areitbahn cable car in the Zell am See-Schmitten ski area is about 3.5 km from the house. Another cable car in the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier ski area is about 12 km from the house.

Facilities

The 3-star Hotel Lukashansl offers a total of 84 living units, including a welcoming reception hall with seating. Your accommodation consists of a main building and an annex building, with the main and annex buildings being approximately 300 m apart. Enjoy culinary delights in the breakfast room, the restaurant, and a traditional Stüberl. You can round off an eventful day of vacation in a convivial atmosphere at the hotel bar. A ski and snowboard storage room is available for your winter sports equipment. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.

NEW from Summer 2025: For all guests staying in the state of Salzburg from May 1, 2025, there is a new levy, the "Mobility Tax". The fee will be collected parallel to the local tax per overnight stay and will be used for the expansion of transport. In return, all guests will receive free use of public transport at their holiday destination. The levy must be paid regardless of the use of public transport.

Winter:
Schmitten-Zell am See ski area: Altitude: approx. 750-1,965 m The winter sports area with its wide slopes is considered an Eldorado for snowboarders and skiers and has practice lifts for beginners, a race track, and Wi-Fi hotspots. Various restaurants and, of course, après-ski options provide conviviality off the slopes and for warming drinks and snacks in between. The Schmitten snow park also promises a lot of fun.
