Location

The centrally located Hotel BLÜ in the heart of Bad Hofgastein is the ideal accommodation for combining city and nature. Cafes, restaurants, and shops are within walking distance of the hotel, offering an eventful stay. Further excursion possibilities include the Alpentherme Bad Hofgastein (approx. 350 m) or the Schlossalmbahn cable car (approx. 900 m). The Gastein Valley is a paradise for hikers, mountain bikers, and nature lovers, with numerous hiking trails and nature paths ensuring a successful active holiday in Austria. Travel options include Salzburg Airport (SZG) or Gastein train station.

Facilities

The friendly hotel, partially renovated in 2025, consists of a main building and the adjacent annex "Baumhaus". The two buildings are connected above ground and are located right next to each other. The BLÜ rooms combine traditional elements with modern style, offering a high level of comfort. Additionally, the accommodation provides a welcoming reception hall with seating, a reception desk, a garden rooftop terrace, and a free e-bike charging station. For soothing relaxation, the beautiful wellness area "HimmelBlü Spa" (approx. 575 m²) with a Finnish sauna, bio sauna, and relaxation room is available. Culinary delights await guests in the "BLÜ" restaurant with a breakfast room, a cozy parlor, and an à la carte area, as well as at the hotel bar for a nightcap. Cyclists can use the hotel's lockable bicycle storage room.

Double Room "Small"

The cozy, bright double rooms are located in the main building and offer a double bed, flat-screen TV, safe, hairdryer, shower or bathtub, toilet, and balcony (approx. 16m², D).

Single Room "Solo"

Also located in the main building, the "Solo" single rooms offer a single bed and are otherwise similarly equipped as the double rooms (approx. 14m², E).

Double Room 1 extra bed "Classic"

These charming and spacious rooms in the main building are similar to the double rooms and offer a double bed plus an additional single sofa bed (approx. 22-25m², Z1D).

Double Room Type B "Mood"

The Type B "MOOD" double rooms, located in the main building, were renovated in 2025 and are bright and simply furnished with many wood tones. Otherwise, they are similarly equipped to the double rooms, but with a shower only (approx. 16m², DB).

Double Room Type C "Vibe"

These also belong to the renovated rooms in the main building and offer a double bed plus a single sofa bed for an additional person (approx. 17m², DC).

Double Room Type E "Soul"

With a modern design with colorful accents, the "SOUL" double rooms are newly renovated in the main building and are similar to the double rooms type C, but slightly more spacious (approx. 23m², DI).

Double Room Type A "Cool"

The cozy and top-modern "COOL" double rooms are located in the "Baumhaus" annex and offer a double bed, flat-screen TV, safe, hairdryer, shower, toilet, and balcony (approx. 24m², DA).

Double Room Type D "Wow"

With otherwise similar amenities and location to the Double Room Type A, these are even more spacious (approx. 28m², DD).

* Enjoyable breakfast buffet with, for example, selected coffee and tea specialties, oven-fresh homemade baked goods, preserves, cooked fruits, and roasted items, egg dishes from regional eggs, cheese from the Salzburg region, and ham and sausage products from a local butcher.

* Enjoyable Blü breakfast buffet: Selected coffee and tea specialties, oven-fresh homemade baked goods, preserves, cooked fruits, and roasted items are available at the breakfast buffet alongside egg dishes from regional eggs, cheese from the Salzburg region, and ham and sausage products from a local butcher.
* Lunch OR Dinner: Enjoyed in the Blü restaurant as a 3-course menu at a time of your choice (either between 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM or 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM) according to the motto "Be as free as you wish."

NEW from Summer 2025: For all guests staying in the state of Salzburg from May 1st, 2025, there will be a new charge, the "Mobility Tax". The fee will be levied concurrently with the tourist tax per overnight stay and will contribute to the expansion of transportation.
