Location

Spend a relaxing holiday in Bad Hofgastein. The hotel "Das Alpenhaus Gasteinertal" (approx. 859 m above sea level) is located just around 50 m from the center. Cafés and restaurants, as well as shops, are just about 50 m away. You can reach the nearest sight (Flying Waters) after about 7 km. In Bad Gastein, approximately 5 km away, the picturesque Gasteiner Badesee lake awaits all water lovers. You can also cool off on hot summer days at the public outdoor pool Solarbad Dorfgastein in Dorfgastein, about 9 km away. Just about 300 m from the hotel is the Alpentherme Gastein with 2 thermal pools.
In summer, the hotel is the ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours. The Almorama hiking area is about 50 m away. The hiking bus stop is about 50 m away. You can also reach the Schlossalmbahn cable car after about 600 m. On a cycle path about 50 m away, you can be active and enjoy the scenery at the same time.

The comfortable hotel "Das Alpenhaus Gasteinertal", partially renovated in 2023, with 4 stars, offers you, in addition to a total of 89 rooms, a welcoming lobby with seating, a reception, an indoor pool, a terrace, an e-car charging station, and a yoga room, as well as the large wellness area "Alpen.Veda.Spa" (approx. 2000 m²), including a Finnish sauna, bio sauna, whirlpool, and steam bath. For your culinary well-being, there is a breakfast room, a restaurant, the hotel bar, and a public bar. Cyclists can use the hotel's lockable bicycle storage room.
