Location

Spend a relaxing holiday in Bad Hofgastein. The hotel "Das Alpenhaus Gasteinertal" (altitude approx. 859 m) is located only about 50 m from the center. Cafes and restaurants as well as shopping facilities can be reached after approx. 50 m. The next sight (Flying Waters) is about 7 km away. In Bad Gastein, about 5 km away, the picturesque Gasteiner Badesee lake awaits all water lovers. You can also cool off on hot summer days at the approximately 9 km distant public outdoor pool Solarbad Dorfgastein in Dorfgastein. Only about 300 m from the hotel is the Alpentherme Gastein with 2 thermal pools.
In summer, the hotel is the ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours. The Almorama hiking area is about 50m away. The hiking bus stop is about 50 m away. You can also reach the Schlossalmbahn cable car after about 600 m. On a cycle path about 50 m away, you can be active and enjoy the scenery at the same time.

The comfortable, partially renovated in 2023, 4-star hotel "Das Alpenhaus Gasteinertal" offers, in addition to a total of 89 rooms, an inviting lobby with seating, a reception, an indoor pool, a terrace, an e-car charging station, and a yoga room, as well as the large wellness area "Alpen.Veda.Spa" (approx. 2000 m²), including a Finnish sauna, bio sauna, whirlpool, and steam bath. For your culinary well-being, there is a breakfast room, a restaurant, the hotel bar, and a public bar. Cyclists can use the hotel's lockable bicycle storage room. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.
