Location

Spend a unique holiday in Zauchensee. The Hotel Sportwelt is located at an altitude of approx. 1,350 m. You can reach cafés and restaurants in approx. 30 m, the nearest shops are about 8 km away from your holiday domicile. The next sight (Eisriesenwelt) is about 40 km away. In about 100 m distance, the picturesque Zauchensee awaits all water lovers. In Altenmarkt, about 10 km away, the public thermal bath Amadé invites you for weather-independent bathing fun. Only about 300 m from the hotel is the adventure park Meistercup der Alpentiere. Entertaining hours also await you about 20 km away in the adventure park Wagraini's Grafenberg.
The hotel is the ideal starting point for extensive hikes and bike tours in summer. A hiking bus (for a fee) will take you to the directly adjacent hiking area Zauchensee-Alm with a hiking trail network of approx. 195 km in total length. The hiking bus stop is about 250 m away. The Gamskogel mountain railway is also about 300 m away. Due to its special location, your holiday resort is perfect for cyclists. On a cycle path directly at the house and with an extensive total cycle path network of about 200 km, you can let off steam.

The lively village of Zauchensee impresses with its central location and varied leisure opportunities. Your holiday resort also offers an extensive selection of restaurants, untouched nature, and an impressive mountain panorama. Experience wonderfully relaxing hours in the approx. 1.4 km distant adventure thermal bath Amadé. Enjoy the charm of nature on your bike or mountain bike or during extensive hikes. An extensive network of cycle paths and well-marked hiking trails offer the optimal conditions for this. The area can also be wonderfully explored by Nordic walking. Especially in summer, you can combine nature experience and sports activities excellently in and around Zauchensee by swimming.

Facilities

The 3-star Hotel Sportwelt offers, in addition to its 65 accommodation units, a welcoming lobby with seating areas, a reception, and a luggage storage room. Let yourself be pampered with culinary delights in the restaurant and the "Zirbenstüberl" parlour. You can round off an eventful day of your holiday in good company at the hotel bar "Sportweltbar" or at the public bar "Almbar", about 150 m from the hotel. A terrace is also available for relaxation. Cyclists can use the hotel's lockable bicycle storage room. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.

Full Board

Board begins with dinner on arrival day and ends with lunch or a packed lunch on departure day.
- Breakfast: (from 7:30-10 am): extensive, varied breakfast buffet with rolls, pastries, several wholemeal breads, various jams & honey, various cold cuts, ham and bacon, soft-boiled eggs, fresh juice, muesli, cornflakes or similar, milk, fresh fruit and breakfast drinks
