The hotel enjoys a prime panoramic location in Upper Austria, at an altitude of approx. 400 m. The center of Obermühl an der Donau is approx. 3 km away, and the nearest shops are approx. 2 km away, offering a quiet yet central location. During the pleasant summer months, there are many activities for the whole family to enjoy in this region, such as a trip to the Feldkirchen bathing lakes (approx. 20 km away) or the outdoor pool in Lembach im Mühlkreis (approx. 3 km away). Wonderful hiking tours can also be undertaken during the summer months, as the hotel is located directly in a hiking area. In the winter months, this accommodation is also an ideal base for cross-country skiers, and ski beginners will also benefit from the hotel's location (practice lift approx. 3 km away). The cable car in the Hochficht ski area is about 40 km from the hotel, and the nearest cross-country ski trail (Lembach) is approx. 3 km away.

Coziness is a top priority at Familienhotel Bruckwirt. Here, everyone, young or old, can do as they please on holiday. The hotel enchants with its wonderfully homely atmosphere, making this accommodation feel like a home away from home. In addition, the hotel's 16 rooms also offer a sense of home and comfort.
The facilities of the 3.5-star hotel include a welcoming lobby with a reception, a cozy dining room and stove room, and a large garden area with a water playground for the hotel's younger guests. Older guests can indulge themselves in the hotel's wellness area, the "Vitalbereich," to start or end the day in a relaxed manner. The accommodation consists of a main building and a side building, both connected by a corridor and only approx. 20 m apart. For dining, guests have access to the breakfast room and the hotel's own restaurant, where delicious dishes are served to both young and old visitors.

The bright and comfortably furnished double rooms (approx. 18 m²) are located in the main or side building of the hotel and feature a double bed and a fold-out bed. General amenities include cable TV, telephone, radio, shower or bath, and toilet (DA).

Double Room Type B

These rooms have identical amenities, are also located in the main or side building, but are slightly larger at approx. 22 m² and some have a balcony (DB).

Super Saver Room

This room type (also in the main or side building) has a limited availability and a special price (SSZ).

Single Room

This room type (approx. 18 m²) is also located in the main or side building, features a double bed as a sleeping option, and can only be booked for single occupancy or with 1 adult and 1 child (E1K).

Family Room

The lovingly furnished family rooms (approx. 40-45m²) are located in the main or side building of the hotel. The rooms consist of two bedrooms separated by a connecting door, equipped with a double bed, bunk bed, and a fold-out bed (DF2)
