Location

The COOEE alpin Hotel Dachstein in Gosau, in the beautiful Salzkammergut region, is located just 14 km from the World Heritage site of Hallstatt. Gosau is the ideal starting point for hikes to rustic alpine huts with their culinary offerings. Numerous hiking trails lead to the Dachstein with its impressive glacier, as well as to other mountain peaks such as the Gosaukamm. The center of Gosau with its supermarket and restaurants is approx. 400 m away. The nearest train station (Steeg-Gosau) is approx. 8 km away, and Salzburg Airport is approx. 62 km away.
Furthermore, the region offers a total of 4,000 km of hiking trails in Dachstein Salzkammergut, ranging from easy walks and hikes to sporty tours and high-alpine climbing routes, as well as over 1,000 km of cycling trails of all difficulty levels. In winter, the hotel enchants with its connection to a free ski bus, which stops directly in front of the house, and takes guests to the Dachstein-West ski area with approx. 160 km of guaranteed snow-covered slopes and to the Hornspitz cable car (approx. 2 km), among others.

The modern sports hotel, built in a comfortable style, is an ideal base for all guests who want to spend an active and sporty holiday. The hotel offers a magnificent view of the Dachstein mountain scenery. The cozy double rooms, approx. 21 m², are equipped with a shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, and balcony (D).

Double room with 1 extra bed

With otherwise similar amenities to the double rooms, these rooms are slightly more spacious at approx. 24 m² and additionally offer an extra bed for the 3rd person (Z1D).

Family room

These rooms, particularly suitable for families (approx. 21-25 m², DF2), offer a bunk bed for children, with otherwise similar amenities to the double rooms.

Family room Interconnecting

These consist of two double rooms with an connecting door and offer ample space with approx. 48 m² (DFB).

Single room

These are double rooms for single occupancy (E).
