Location

Welcome to the Gailtal valley in Carinthia, where you can enjoy peace and quiet and let your soul dangle. The resort is located directly on the edge of the forest in a fantastic hillside position in the Nassfeld-Pressegger Se holiday region, which is part of the market town of Kötschach-Mauthen. The region is nestled between the Gailtal Alps and the Carnic Alps, allowing you to enjoy a unique glamping holiday in this accommodation.
The beautiful accommodation is located in the immediate vicinity of the center of Kötschach-Mauthen, and the nearest shops, cafes, and restaurants are about 200m away. The location of the accommodation is ideally suited for pleasant hikes through the breathtaking Carinthian countryside.
The Vorheggbahn cable car is located directly at the resort, and other cable cars in Nassfeld are about 30 km away.
For hotel guests arriving by plane, the nearest airport is Klagenfurt, which is about 118 km away. The nearest train station is in Oberdrauburg, which is about 15 km from the accommodation.

Facilities

Anyone who has always wished for a relaxing break in a treehouse or chalet combined with a fantastic location is in the right place. The resort opened in May 2022 and has been offering its visitors a unique glamping experience ever since. Camping with luxury is possible in this accommodation. The resort has a total of 50 residential units, all designed and furnished with great attention to detail. Guests of the hotel who are enthusiastic cyclists can use the accommodation's bicycle storage room after an exciting day in this great region.

Accommodation

Chalet

The cozy and brightly designed chalets (approx. 43m²) consist of two bedrooms and a living room. One bedroom is equipped with a double bed, the other with two single beds as sleeping facilities. General amenities include a flat-screen TV, shower, toilet, hairdryer, and balcony or terrace, as well as a fully equipped kitchen (with cutlery, crockery, stovetop, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, toaster, kettle, and coffee machine) (2CH).

House

The cozy and bright treehouses (approx. 23 m²) are similar in equipment to the chalets, but are smaller and have a combined living/sleeping area with a double bed and a single sofa bed as sleeping facilities (H1A).

Safari Luxury Tent

The comfortable safari luxury tents have air conditioning, a shower, toilet, hairdryer, and a fully equipped kitchen (with cutlery, crockery, stovetop, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, toaster, kettle, and coffee machine). The tents consist of two sleeping areas – one room with a double bed, the other with two single beds – as well as a cozy living area. To fully enjoy your time in the luxury tent, a little tip: nights in the Carinthian mountains can be a bit cool in spring and autumn. Bed linen is provided, of course – for even more coziness and a real glamping feeling, it is recommended to bring your own sleeping bag (ZE, approx. 31 m²).

From (expected) end of May to beginning of September: Use of the indoor pool (approx. 140 m²) and
outdoor pool (approx. 210 m²) in AQUARENA Kötschach-Mauthen - open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
(NOTE: Tuesday is a rest day and therefore closed. Changes and restrictions of
opening hours and usage areas are subject to change. Possible maintenance work or other
closure times as per information on-site or on the website.))
