Location

The Family Hotel Berghof in Innerkrems is idyllically situated in the heart of the Carinthian Nockberge mountains at an altitude of approx. 1550m. For a successful summer holiday in Austria, the region offers a variety of possible activities, such as Lake Millstatt (approx. 40 km away) and diverse hiking and motorcycling routes in the immediate vicinity. The 34 km long Nockalm road between Innerkrems in the north and Ebene Reichenau in the south is undoubtedly one of the most varied and beautiful alpine roads. Another highlight for the whole family is the Biosphere Park Kärntner Nockberge, which, together with the Salzburger Lungau, has been recognized as Austria's largest UNESCO Biosphere Park since 2012 and creates a great connection to nature.

Facilities

The hotel is ideal for those who appreciate the typical traditional style of the mountain world. The 40 rooms are comfortably furnished and exude charm and coziness. There is also a reception, a cozy sun terrace, a dining room, further lounge areas, as well as a café and a bar. For those who want to stay active in the hotel, there is a small fitness room with two pieces of equipment. Wi-Fi is included for guests throughout the hotel. A small wellness area with soothing offers ensures relaxation after an eventful day.

Accommodation

Double room

The bright and classically furnished Standard double rooms without a balcony have a double bed and a bathroom with shower/WC. Further amenities include Wi-Fi, satellite TV, a safe for rent, a seating area, and a hairdryer (approx. 17m², D).

Double room Comfort

With otherwise similar equipment and size to the Standard double rooms, the Comfort double rooms additionally offer a balcony (DKO).

Double room Superior

The Superior double rooms are somewhat more spacious and offer a shower or a bathtub in the bathroom. Otherwise similarly equipped and also bookable with a balcony (approx. 23m², DSU).

Single room

The small but cozy single room with a balcony has a single bed as a sleeping place and otherwise similar amenities to the double room (approx. 17m², E).

Family room

The 1-room family room is designed for a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children up to 15 years of age and offers a double bed as well as 1-2 extra beds for 1-2 children. The bathroom is equipped with a shower/WC, and there is also a balcony here (approx. 23m², DF2).

Family room Type A

This category includes two double rooms, which are located next to or opposite each other and offer more space overall. Each room is equipped with its own bathroom and a balcony; the minimum occupancy for this room category is 4 people (approx. 34m², 2FA).

Family room Type B

The Family room Type B corresponds to 2 double rooms with a connecting door and additionally 1-2 extra beds for children. There is a bathroom with a shower or bathtub and toilet, as well as a balcony (approx. 46m², 2FB).
