Location

The elegant and exclusive 5-star Hotel Excelsior is superbly integrated into the old 16th-century fortifications of Valletta, offering a dreamlike view of the harbor. Valletta's center, with its numerous sights, restaurants, and cafes, is just a few minutes' walk away. The airport is approximately 8 km from the hotel.

Facilities

The hotel has a total of 428 rooms spread over 10 floors. Amenities include a spacious lobby with a reception, 3 elevators, a lobby lounge, 4 bars, a main restaurant, an à la carte restaurant, and a poolside restaurant. Outdoors, you will find an extensive pool area and terraces, sun loungers, and umbrellas. The hotel also features a small, purpose-built beach area.

Deluxe Double Room

The double rooms have a bathroom with bath/shower and toilet, hairdryer, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning/heating (centrally controlled), desk, coffee/tea making facilities, telephone, minibar, and safe (included), and a balcony (DD2).
Also bookable as a double room for single occupancy (DD1).
Rooms are available at an additional charge with side sea view (DDS/EDD), sea view (DDM/DM1), sea front with terrace (2B/1B).
Additionally bookable with inland view as type A (DDA) or garden view (DGD).

Superior Double Room

The Superior Double Rooms are located on the 7th-10th floors and have the same amenities as the Deluxe Double Rooms (DSU). Also available for single occupancy (DSE) or at an additional charge with a side sea view (D2S/AQ2/1SD).

Family Room

The classic, upscale family room is equipped with a king-size bed and two twin beds. The two sleeping areas are separated by a connecting door. A bathroom offers a bathtub or shower and toilet, as well as a hairdryer. Further amenities include a balcony, carpet, air conditioning (centrally controlled), Wi-Fi, satellite TV, telephone, kettle, safe (free of charge), and a minibar (for a fee) (approx. 60m², DF2).

Family Room Pool View

Located by the pool area, these family rooms are on the ground floor and feature two interconnected sleeping areas, one with a comfortable double bed and the other with twin beds. Otherwise, they are equipped similarly to the classic family rooms (approx. 60m², FP2).

Excelsior Suite

The elegant and sophisticated "Excelsior" Suite, with a separate living area with seating and a sleeping area with a king-size bed or twin beds, combines comfort and luxury. The furnished balcony is perfect for enjoying the magnificent panoramic view and the warm air. The further amenities and size are similar to the family rooms (S2).
