Location

Mellieha is located in the northern part of Malta on a long sandy beach, which the locals call Ghadira. Mellieha offers many sights, historical places, shops as well as restaurants, bars, and pizzerias. The town of Mellieha is approximately 21 km from Malta's capital, Valletta, and about 20 km from Malta Airport.
The Luna Holiday Complex is just a few minutes' walk from the sea, and a bus stop is located approx. 120 m from the hotel entrance.

The hotel has 170 rooms. Hotel amenities include a 24-hour reception, 3 bars and restaurants, a mini-market, and a gym. The hotel's lobby area was freshly renovated in 2025. The various floors of the hotel can be easily reached by elevator (blocks 5 and 6 do not have an elevator). A safe, wake-up service, and laundry service are available to guests. The hotel features Wi-Fi in all guest rooms and public areas. There is a small supermarket located within the hotel. In the outdoor area, there are 2 pools (a rooftop Sky Lounge & pool for guests aged 17 and over, and a family pool on the reception floor). From November to April, there is a heated indoor pool and a sun terrace with sun loungers and umbrellas (included). In the bathing area, a whirlpool invites you to relax.

Studio with balcony

The studios feature a combined living/bedroom with 2 single beds and an additional sofa bed; the studio also has an integrated kitchenette, shower/WC, air conditioning, safe, fan, telephone, TV, Wi-Fi, and a balcony (SBK).

Apartment

Equipped like the studios, but these rooms additionally have a separate bedroom with a double bed and two single beds (each 90x200cm) (AP). Use of the safe is for a fee.

Superior Family Room

Equipped like the apartments with an additional 2 bedrooms, and use of the safe is free of charge (F2U).
Alternatively, also bookable with only one living/bedroom (without an additional bedroom) as a Superior Family Apartment (2FX).
