Location

The PLACES Dalmacija by Valamar hotel is located approx. 800 m from Makarska (Split approx. 64 km). The nearest beach, a sandy/pebble beach, is just a few meters away. The tourist center is approx. 800 m away. A supermarket can be reached after approx. 200 m. The following attractions are accessible from the hotel: Makarska Riva (approx. 1 km) and Biokovo (approx. 5 km). The airport (SPU) is approx. 85 km away. Another airport (ZAD) is about 200 km away.

Facilities

The hotel has 190 rooms spread over 10 floors. Amenities include a lobby with reception, panoramic elevators, free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, a restaurant with a terrace, and two bars. In the beautifully landscaped outdoor area, there is a heated swimming pool (seasonal), a sun terrace with sun loungers and umbrellas, a pool bar, and a beach bar. Beach loungers are available for a fee.

Double Room Sea Side

The air-conditioned PLACESROOM rooms (approx. 16-22 m²) feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, safe, Wi-Fi included, and a balcony on the sea side (DY2/MDA).

Double Room Superior Sea Side

With the same amenities as the double rooms sea side, the superior rooms offer sleeping space for an additional person and are slightly larger (approx. 23-27 m², SMS/DY3).

Cherry On Top PLACESSUITE Sea View

The modern "Cherry on top PLACESSUITE" (approx. 42 m²) features a double bed 200 x 200 cm and an additional sofa bed, bathroom with bathtub and shower, lounge zone, air conditioning, hairdryer, complimentary Wi-Fi, smart TV, Nespresso coffee pod machine, as well as a small champagne fridge, minibar with non-alcoholic drinks, and a bar with premium drinks (each for a fee) (J2M/S2M).

The "PLACESFLEXI" dining concept includes a rich breakfast buffet from 7 am to 11 am and dinner in buffet style from 7 pm to 9 pm with local, Mediterranean dishes, a pizza corner, salad buffet including basil from our own herb garden, and homemade pasta. If guests choose to skip dinner on any day, this credit of 30 € can be used elsewhere in the hotel, for example, for drinks at the bar. Any remaining credit on the wristband on the day of departure will not be refunded.
