The PLACES Dalmacija by Valamar hotel is located approx. 800 m from Makarska (Split approx. 64 km). The nearest beach, a sand/pebble beach, is just a few meters away. The center of the tourist area is approx. 800 m away. A supermarket can be reached in approx. 200 m. The following attractions are accessible from the hotel: Makarska Riva (approx. 1 km) and Biokovo (approx. 5 km). The airport (SPU) is approx. 85 km away. Another airport (ZAD) is located about 200 km away.

The superior rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms sea side, plus a sleeping option for one additional person and are slightly larger (approx. 23-27 sqm, SMS).

The modern "Cherry on top PLACESSUITE" (approx. 42 sqm) features a 200 x 200 cm double bed and an additional sofa bed, a bathroom with bathtub and shower, a lounge area, air conditioning, hairdryer, free Wi-Fi, Smart TV, Nespresso capsule coffee machine, a small champagne fridge, a minibar with non-alcoholic beverages, and a bar with premium drinks (both for a fee) (J2M).

The "PLACESFLEXI" board concept includes a rich breakfast buffet from 7 am to 11 am and dinner from 7 pm to 9 pm with local, Mediterranean dishes, a pizza corner, a salad buffet including basil from our own herb garden, and homemade pasta. Additionally, guests receive a daily credit of €25. This can be redeemed for drinks at dinner or at the bars or restaurant for lunch.
