Location

The Valamar Meteor Hotel is located just approx. 1 km from the popular resort of Makarska. The next larger cities are Split (approx. 65 km) and Dubrovnik (approx. 181 km). The nearest beach is only a few meters away and invites you to sunbathe and swim in the pleasantly cool water. The tourist center is about 600 m away, where you will find further larger shopping opportunities. The following sights are accessible from the hotel: Makarska Riva (approx. 600 m) and Biokovo (approx. 5 km). A taxi rank and a bus stop (approx. 350 m away) ensure mobility. For emergency medical care, there is a hospital about 80 km away. The airport (SPU) is approx. 85 km away. Another airport (ZAD) is about 200 km away.

The hotel has 268 rooms, spread over 9 floors. It is also equipped with a lobby with a 24-hour reception and seating areas, five elevators, Wi-Fi throughout the hotel (included), a restaurant, two bars, an indoor pool, a swimming pool (opening hours depend on weather), a hairdresser, a souvenir shop, and a beautifully landscaped sun terrace with a pool bar. The hotel's outdoor area includes a freshwater pool (approx. 300 m²) with a separate children's pool and a water slide. The double rooms, between 18-25 m² in size, are equipped with double or single beds, shower/bath/WC, sofa, air conditioning, TV, safe, hairdryer, telephone, and a balcony facing the seaside (DY2).

The approx. 20 m² double rooms feature a double bed or single beds, air conditioning, TV, hairdryer, bath/WC, telephone, safe, and a balcony with a view of the sea (DM).

Double room Superior

The Superior rooms are slightly larger than the standard double rooms but have the same amenities and are located on the seaside with a balcony (SMS/1MS).
Can also be booked with a sea view and balcony or terrace for an additional charge (DMU).

Junior suite seaside

The junior suites (approx. 37-49 m²) are equipped with bath or shower/WC, a bedroom and living room, a visually separated sleeping area, as well as a hairdryer, telephone, safe for rent, TV, minibar (for a fee), air conditioning, and a balcony facing the seaside (JM2). Can also be booked with a sea view (J2M) for an additional charge.

The family rooms, approx. 35-50 m², feature air conditioning, safe for rent, satellite TV, hairdryer, telephone, Wi-Fi, minibar (for a fee), two bathrooms, and two bedrooms (DF2).

Featuring the same amenities as the double rooms, these include 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a balcony facing the seaside (F2U). Can also be booked with a sea view as a family suite (2FU) for an additional charge.

With similar amenities to the family rooms, these offer approx. 38-50 m² of space and two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a balcony or terrace (F2M).

Family room type A

Similarly equipped to the Family room Superior, also with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, however, with 2 balconies (2FA).

Suite seaside

With a size of 37-49 m², these are spacious and equipped with a separate bedroom with double or single beds, another double or two single beds, air conditioning, TV, safe, hairdryer, bath/WC, telephone, and a balcony facing the seaside (2MZ).

Suite sea view

Similar in size to the seaside suite, these are equipped with either a separate bedroom and a living/sleeping area or a separate bedroom and additional double or two single beds, bath/WC, air conditioning, TV, safe, telephone, hairdryer, and a furnished balcony (S2M).

Suite sea view 2 bedrooms

The spacious suites (approx. 54 m²) offer a total of three sleeping areas that are partially separated by a door. They also have 2 bathrooms with shower/WC or bath/WC and a furnished balcony (SUZ).
