Location

The modern Hvar PLACES Hotel by Valamar is particularly popular with beach holidaymakers and families, located approx. 50 m from Helios Beach, a pebble beach. Sunshades and sun loungers are available at the beach for a fee. The tourist centre is approx. 1 km away, where further shops and local amenities can be found. The next larger town, Hvar, is approx. 24 km away (Split approx. 25 km, Dubrovnik approx. 200 km). Shopping facilities are located approx. 2 km from the hotel, and a supermarket can be reached after approx. 800 m. The nearest bars and restaurants are about 1 km away. The following sights are reachable from the hotel: Old villa Tvrdalj (approx. 2 km), Stari Grad Plain (UNESCO) (approx. 2 km) and Hvar Old Town (approx. 25 km). For mobility during your holiday, there is a car rental service as well as a taxi stand (approx. 100 m). For medical care in case of an emergency, there is a hospital about 25 km away. The airport (SPU) is approx. 75 km away. A shuttle (possibly for a fee) operates between the hotel and the airport. Another airport (ZAD) is about 195 km away.

The design hotel, which was last completely renovated in 2020, consists of a main building and 2 annex buildings and has a total of 179 rooms. It offers its guests a 24-hour reception (check-in from 2 pm, check-out until 10 am), a lobby with a bar, a lift, air conditioning, a car park (free of charge), a security entry system, and currency exchange facilities. A restaurant takes care of your culinary needs. You are welcome to visit the two bars in the hotel.
