Location

The Hotel Istra is located on the island of St. Andrew, also known as the Red Island, which is part of the Rovinj archipelago. Boats run from Rovinj to the island hourly between 5:30 am and 12:30 am. You can reach the city center by boat (free of charge) in approximately 15-20 minutes. The car-free oasis is surrounded by sun and sea. A pebble beach with showers, sun loungers, and umbrellas (included) is located approximately 50 m away.

Facilities

The hotel has a total of 326 rooms. Amenities include a lobby with a 24-hour reception, Wi-Fi (free throughout the hotel), a hotel restaurant, the à-la-carte restaurant "La Serra", Captains Club, pizzeria, five bars, a lobby bar, an outdoor freshwater pool, and an outdoor seawater pool for adults and children, where sun loungers and umbrellas are included for our guests, as well as on the beach.

The comfortably furnished double rooms have a double bed or 2 single beds, a bathroom with a shower or bathtub, hairdryer, air conditioning, LCD TV, safe, telephone, minibar (for a fee), and a furnished balcony (D).

Family room

With the same amenities as the Superior rooms, the family room has two rooms with a connecting door (DF2).

Double room Superior

The approx. 23-29 m² rooms are equipped with air conditioning/heating, satellite TV, safe, Wi-Fi, telephone, a bathroom with a bathtub or walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, minibar (for a fee), and balcony (DSU/DS1/1DS). Also bookable for 2 adults and one child with an additional sofa bed (KDS).

Junior suite (on request)

With the same amenities as the double rooms, the junior suite features an additional living area with a sofa bed for an extra person and a balcony (JS2).

Executive suite (on request)

The approx. 51 m² executive suites have similar amenities to the double rooms, with an additional living area featuring a sofa bed or 2 sleeping chairs for two further persons, as well as a balcony (ES2).

You can help yourself to the rich breakfast buffet.

Half board plus

You can help yourself to the buffet in the morning and evening. In addition to dinner, you will receive the following drinks: table wine, draft beer, water and mineral water, as well as non-alcoholic drinks from the beverage dispenser.

Sports included

Gym with modern equipment and large windows overlooking the city.
(subject to availability): Sports activity program such as Zumba, aerobics, water aerobics, fitness, beach volleyball, only within the animation program.

Sports for a fee

(subject to availability): Tennis, table tennis, bocce, bicycle rental (including e-bikes), and various water sports opportunities provided by local operators: rental of pedal boats, paddle boats, motorboats with skipper, banana boat rental, balls (soccer, basketball, beach volleyball), diving school and surf school, aqua park, jet ski.

Children's program

Children's playground as well as indoor children's play area.
In the high season, there is a Baby Club (0-3 years) every day from 10 am to 3 pm (parents' presence required) as well as a Mini Club (4-11 years) from 10 am to 3 pm.

Free access to the wellness area (Active Spa, Finnish sauna, aroma sauna, steam bath, indoor pool, ice, sensory showers, Kneipp foot baths, heated indoor and outdoor whirlpools, Mediterranean garden, relaxation room with warm water beds as well as tepidarium and fitness). Massages and treatments are available for a fee.

Entertainment

Evening program with live music. Show program and animation. For children and teenagers, there is a mini disco, mini cabaret, or talent shows. A themed evening is also offered occasionally.

Hotel service

A guarded parking lot is included subject to availability.
A boat transfer (for scheduled ship services) to the island of Rovinj is included during the stay, subject to availability.
