Location

Hotel Istra is located on the island of St. Andrew, also known as Red Island, which is part of the Rovinj archipelago. Boats run hourly from Rovinj to the island between 5:30 am and 12:30 am. You can reach the city center by boat (free of charge) in approximately 15-20 minutes. This traffic-free oasis is surrounded by sun and sea. A pebble beach with showers, sun loungers, and umbrellas (included) is located approximately 50 m away.

Facilities

The hotel has a total of 326 rooms. Facilities include a lobby with a 24-hour reception, Wi-Fi (free throughout the hotel), a hotel restaurant, the "La Serra" à la carte restaurant, a Captain's Club, a pizzeria, five bars, a lobby bar, an outdoor freshwater pool, and an outdoor seawater pool for both adults and children, where sun loungers and umbrellas are provided for our guests, both at the pools and on the beach.

The comfortably furnished double rooms feature a double bed or 2 single beds, a bathroom with a shower or bathtub, hairdryer, air conditioning, LCD TV, safe, telephone, minibar (for a fee), and a furnished balcony (D).

Family room

With the same amenities as the superior rooms, the family room features two rooms with a connecting door (DF2).

Double room Superior

These approx. 23-29 m² rooms are equipped with air conditioning/heating, satellite TV, safe, Wi-Fi, and telephone, a bathroom with a bathtub or walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, minibar (for a fee), and a balcony (DSU/DS1/1DS). Also bookable for 2 adults and one child with an additional sofa bed (KDS).

Junior suite (on request)

With the same amenities as the double rooms, the junior suite features an additional living area with a sofa bed for an extra person and a balcony (JS2).

Executive suite (on request)

The approx. 51 m² executive suites feature similar amenities to the double rooms, including an additional living area with a sofa bed or 2 armchairs that convert into beds for two additional people, as well as a balcony (ES2).

Half Board Plus

Help yourself to the buffet for both breakfast and dinner. In addition to dinner, you will receive the following drinks: table wine, draft beer, water and mineral water, as well as soft drinks from the dispenser.

Gym with modern equipment and large windows overlooking the city.
(subject to availability): Sports activity program such as Zumba, aerobics, water aerobics, fitness, and beach volleyball, exclusively as part of the animation program.

Sports for a fee

(subject to availability): Tennis, table tennis, bocce, bicycle rental (including e-bikes), and various water sports provided by local vendors: rental of pedal boats, paddle boats, motorboats with skipper, banana boat rides, balls (soccer, basketball, beach volleyball), diving school and surf school, aqua park, jet-ski.

Children's program

Children's playground as well as an indoor children's play area.
During high season, there is a daily Baby Club (0-3 years) from 10 am to 3 pm (parental presence required) as well as a Mini Club (4-11 years) from 10 am to 3 pm.

Free admission to the wellness area (Active Spa, Finnish sauna, aroma sauna, steam bath, indoor pool, ice fountain, experiential showers, Kneipp foot baths, heated indoor and outdoor whirlpools, Mediterranean garden, relaxation room with heated water beds, as well as a tepidarium and fitness). Massages and treatments are available for a fee.

Entertainment

Evening program with live music. Show program and animation. For children and teenagers, there is a mini disco, mini cabaret, or talent shows. Themed evenings are also offered from time to time.

Hotel services

A guarded parking lot is included subject to availability.
A boat transfer (for the regular scheduled boat services) to the island of Rovinj is included during the stay, subject to availability.
