The Valamar Collection Girandella Resort-Maro Suites is surrounded by a pine forest and stretches along the most beautiful pebble beaches on the east coast of Istria. The town center is approx. 1.5 km away, and Pula Airport is approx. 47 km away.

The hotel has 149 rooms spread over several floors with a lift. Facilities include a selection of restaurants and bars, a currency exchange, Wi-Fi included, hairdresser (in the Girandella Resort), indoor pool (seasonally heated), pool with pool bar, children's pool with water attractions and slides, and a beach bar. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge at the hotel's respective beaches, and for a fee at public beaches. Towels are available for a deposit.

Accommodation

Family Suite

The family suites, designed in light and Mediterranean colors, offer plenty of space and are furnished with two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with bunk beds. There is also a small seating area, a bathroom with a shower, and a balcony with a park view (2FS). Optionally bookable with sea view and balcony for up to 4 people (2FM) or with a terrace and for up to 6 people (ASF).

Family Suite Superior (bookable on request only)

The Family Suite Superior (minimum occupancy 2 adults and one child) approx. 39m² consists of a bedroom with a double bed and a living room with a sofa, as well as a separate children's room with bunk beds. Further amenities include a bathroom with bathtub and shower, two sinks, one suitable for children, a sink stool, and a changing table. The toilet is separate from the bathroom. 2 LCD TVs, air conditioning, hairdryer, and a coffee set complete the offering. For the safety of children, socket protective covers and a baby monitor are also available. The Family Suite Superior also has a balcony (2FF).

With the same amenities and minimum occupancy as the Family Superior rooms, these rooms have a sea view (2FU).

Terrace Family Suite

With the same features and minimum occupancy as the Family Suite Superior and a size of approx. 39 m², they have a veranda and two single beds in the separate bedroom and no sea view (2FT).

Premium Suite Sea View (bookable on request only)

They are slightly larger than the Family Suite Superior, approx. 51 m², and with otherwise identical amenities and minimum occupancy as the Family Suite Superior Sea View, they consist of two bathrooms, one with a child-friendly bathtub and child stool, and one bathroom with a shower. Furthermore, the suite has a bedroom with a double bed, another bedroom with 2 single beds, and an open living area with a sofa bed, as well as a terrace and sea view (MP2).

Rich breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet with Mediterranean and international specialties and show cooking at the Mario Premium Buffet Restaurant. Entry is only for guests of the Maro Suites. Snacks by the pool and on the beach in the afternoon, as well as various local non-alcoholic drinks, and local beer and local wine from the beverage station during meals are included. Non-alcoholic drinks and coffee from the machine, as well as tea, are included at the Ria lobby bar in Maro Suites.

Sports included

(subject to availability): fitness center, hiking and running trails, bike paths, and aqua aerobics.

Sports for a fee

Tennis courts, tennis equipment, adventure mini-golf, bike tours, bicycle rental, water sports by third-party providers on the beach.
