The modernized Valamar Parentino Hotel (formerly Zagreb) is surrounded by a pine forest and is located just 130 m from the beach and a 10-minute walk from the old town of Poreč. The nearest bars and restaurants are around 200 m away. A supermarket can be reached after approx. 1 km. The nearest disco is about 1 km away. Car rental, a taxi stand, and a bus stop are about 1 km away. Pula Airport is approx. 52 km away.

The hotel, part of the well-known Valamar Group, offers 329 rooms on 7 floors (3 elevators available). It offers its guests a reception (check-in from 2 p.m., check-out by 10 a.m.), the main restaurant with an outdoor terrace and show cooking, a lobby bar, a pool bar (weather permitting), and a beach bar. A wellness area and Wi-Fi (included) are also available. In the outdoor area, you will find the swimming pool with a separate children's pool and a water slide. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included here, while they are available for a fee at the beach. Towel service is available for a fee.

Double Room Premium (New Wing) - on request

With otherwise identical amenities to the Superior rooms, these rooms are 22-28m² in size with a balcony and are also located in the new building (PDZ).
Sea view can also be booked for an additional charge (MSP).

Family Room Superior (New Wing)

In addition to the standard family room, these rooms offer 2 sofa beds, which can be separated by a sliding door, an additional LCD satellite TV, a balcony, and park view in the new hotel building (F2U).

Junior Suite Premium (New Wing) - on request

The Junior Suites are approximately 32-37 m² in size and offer a bedroom and a separate living area with 2 sofa beds, a bathroom with shower/toilet, a balcony, an additional toilet, and park view with a balcony. They are located in the new hotel building (P2J).

Double Room Superior

The modernly equipped rooms are approximately 22m² in size and feature a double or two single beds, LED satellite TV, bathroom with bath/toilet, air conditioning, minibar (for a fee), telephone, Wi-Fi included, hairdryer, safe, carpet, and a balcony (DSU/SMA). Sea view is available for an additional charge (DY2/DY3).

Family Room

Slightly larger at 26-29m² with the same amenities, including an additional sofa bed (DF2).

Double Room

The approximately 22m² double rooms (D) offer a double or twin bed. The bathroom is equipped with a shower or bathtub. From the balcony, you have a view of the park. Amenities include air conditioning, minibar for a fee, LED satellite TV, safe, hairdryer, and telephone. For a 2+1 occupancy, an additional sofa bed is included (DA).

Family Junior Suite - on request

The spacious family junior suites, approximately 28-32 m² in size (FJ2), feature a bedroom with a double bed or two single beds, a bathroom/toilet, air conditioning, two televisions, a safe, a small living area with a sofa bed, and a balcony.
Sea view can be booked for an additional charge (2FA).

Family Suite Superior - on request

With approximately 42-50 m², these superior family suites offer ample space. They are equipped with two bedrooms, each with a double bed, a sofa bed, two bathrooms with a shower/bath/toilet, and a balcony (2FF).

Suite

The 32-37m² suites (S2) offer a comfortable bedroom with a double bed (200x200cm) and a separate living area with 2 daybeds. The bathroom has a shower, and the room has a balcony. Amenities include a minibar (for a fee), 2 satellite TVs, air conditioning, a safe, a hairdryer, and Wi-Fi. Optionally bookable with two bedrooms (approx. 42-50m², S22).

Junior Suite

The comfortably furnished junior suites, decorated in a traditional style, are located in the main building (old part) and feature a double or twin bed, a living area with a sofa bed, a bathroom with a shower-tub, and a balcony (approx. 28-32 m², JS2). Optionally bookable with a sea view (JM2).

Water sports such as jet skiing (partly from local providers) are offered about 200 m from the hotel. A golf course is located in the vicinity of the hotel.

Children's program

Maro Club (June 15 - September 1) for children aged 0-7 and 7-12 years with an indoor playground offering organized activities. The Maro Club is open for at least 4 hours a day (6 hours in peak season). Swimming lessons as well as babysitting and childcare services (for a fee, with prior notice and only during specific periods). Maro Mini Club (0-7) with a specially equipped room for relaxation and socializing for parents with young children. The Club also houses the Maro Baby Room, a well-equipped space for babies and toddlers, supervised by trained staff.
For children aged 12 and over, there is an open-air lounge, a video game area, and various activities (beach volleyball, table tennis, badminton, cycling tours, etc.). In the evenings, beach parties, discos, or cinema nights are offered.
