Location

Beautiful hotel located directly in the historic center of Volterra. The swimming pool, an oasis of tranquility in the heart of the city, is the perfect place to relax. Volterra is situated on a hill amidst the Tuscan landscape. From here, you have a unique view of the surrounding area. The city is known for its Etruscan and Roman heritage. Bars, restaurants, and shops can be found everywhere.

The hotel was built in 1480 and was originally a monastery. It has been a hotel since 1982 and was renovated in 2021. It offers 42 rooms on 3 floors, as well as a reception with a lobby, elevator, bar, and pool bar (new on the terrace), a reading area, and Wi-Fi is included. In the beautiful garden with a view of the Tuscan hills, you will find sun loungers, umbrellas, and a panoramic terrace with a 90m² pool (mid-April to October, pool is not heated).

All rooms have a shower, toilet, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, safe, minibar, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning and heating. Also available for single use (E).

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these rooms also feature a kettle, Smart TV, courtesy service, and pool towels are included.

Meals

Breakfast/Half Board

A breakfast buffet is served from 7:30 AM to 10 AM. For a fee, you can enjoy a light lunch on the pool terrace (open from June to September, 11 AM to 7:30 PM). Dinner is served at a restaurant 200m away, where a 2-course menu and dessert of your choice are available. However, the restaurant is not part of the hotel.

Sports included

Bike storage and an outdoor pool on the panoramic terrace (mid-April to October).
