Location

Centrally located in the historic capital of Rhodes, the Angela Downtown Hotel is an ideal base for sightseeing and exploring the island of Rhodes. A beach is located approx. 300 m away and invites you for a refreshing dip as an alternative to the city bustle. The tourist center offers numerous shops, restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops. Other excursion destinations include the tourist resort of Faliraki, approx. 8 km away, and the beautiful village of Lindos, approx. 50 km away on the east coast of the island. For mobility during your holiday, there is a car rental service, a motorcycle rental, a taxi stand, and a bus stop (approx. 50 m away). The airport (RHO) is approx. 17 km away.

Facilities

The 5-story city hotel has 64 comfortably furnished rooms where you can relax after an eventful day. It offers its guests a reception (check-in from 3 p.m., check-out by 11 a.m.), a lobby with a bar, an elevator, and air conditioning. Refreshing drinks in good company can be enjoyed at the hotel bar. Wi-Fi is available to hotel guests free of charge. The hotel's outdoor area includes a freshwater pool (approx. 75 m²). Sun loungers are available here free of charge.

Information on climate resilience contribution

For stays from 01/01/2018 onwards, the Greek government charges a climate resilience contribution, which is payable by the guest on site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, from 01/01/2025, will be tiered from 0.50 Euro to 15 € per day and room.
