Location

The Olympion Melathron hotel is located in Platamos, approximately 100m from the beach. Platamos offers shopping and entertainment opportunities. Nearby is the crusader castle, known as the fortress of Platamonas, with a majestic view of the Aegean Sea and the surrounding area, hosting a wealth of cultural events. The airport is 110 km away.

The hotel, partially renovated in Winter 24/25, features a lobby with a reception, a TV lounge, a main and an à la carte restaurant, and a bar. Wi-Fi is included throughout the hotel. The outdoor area boasts a beautiful garden with a sun terrace and a pool (11 am - 7 pm) with a snack/pool bar. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool, and available for a fee on the beach.

The double rooms are equipped with a shower/WC, cosmetic mirror, toiletries, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, TV, refrigerator, safe (for rent), and balcony (DSU).

Half Board / All Inclusive

Breakfast and dinner served buffet style.
The main restaurant with a terrace offers a continental breakfast buffet from 7:30 am to 10 am. For dinner, from 6:30 pm to 8 pm, there is a buffet with 3 main courses, as well as starters and desserts.
An earlier or later breakfast is possible upon request. Children's meals and vegetarian options are also available.
Packed lunches are available on request (please register one day in advance).

All Inclusive

All Inclusive

The All Inclusive program is available from 7:30 am to 10 pm.
Breakfast is a continental buffet (7:30 am - 10 am).
Lunch is a continental buffet, and dinner is a 3-course buffet (6:30 pm - 8:00 pm).
Beverages (10 am - 10 pm) include soft drinks, juices, coffee, tea, local draft beer, house wine (red, white, and rosé), local spirits (brandy, ouzo), and international alcoholic beverages (vodka, gin, rum, tequila, whiskey, vermouth), long drinks, and cocktails.
A children's menu and vegetarian options are available.

Sports for a fee

Water sports (provided by an external third party): scuba diving, water skiing, jet skiing, parasailing, pedal boats, canoes, windsurfing, banana boat rides.

Cots and high chairs are available upon request.

Information regarding Climate Resilience Fee

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which is payable by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room starting from 01.01.2025.
