Location

The Oasis Hotel is located in Skaleta, a suburb of Rethymnon, and is approx. 400 m from the sandy beach. Shops and entertainment facilities are in the immediate vicinity. The airport of Heraklion is approx. 68 km away, and the airport of Chania is approx. 74 km away.

Facilities

The family-friendly complex has 31 rooms and offers a 24-hour reception, lobby with internet corner, central safe, luggage room, buffet restaurant and a bar with terrace. Wi-Fi is included throughout the complex. The well-kept outdoor area features a swimming pool with sun terrace and a separate children's pool. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool, and available for a fee on the beach. Towels can be rented at the hotel for a fee. Parking at the hotel is included, subject to availability.

In the afternoon, snacks are available from 2 pm - 4 pm, and coffee/tea and pastries from 4 pm - 6 pm.

Destination information

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government charges a climate resilience fee, which is payable by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room from 01.01.2025.
