The Kalimera Kriti hotel is situated on the northeast coast of Crete, directly on two fine sandy beaches, approximately 45 km east of Heraklion and only about 900 m from the town of Sissi. The center of Sissi features a picturesque small harbor with shops, tavernas, and traditional cafes (kafenia). The airport is approximately 45 km away, and a bus stop is located about 260 m from the hotel.

Consisting of a main building and three Cretan-style bungalow villages, the complex features a lobby with a 24-hour reception, lounge areas, a main restaurant, and conference rooms. In the vibrant, Mediterranean garden area, you will find a center with shops, an à-la-carte restaurant, a main bar, and a snack/pool bar. Additionally, there is an impressive natural stone cave, a beach bar, and 3 freshwater pools (one Olympic-sized, one adults-only pool, and one indoor pool) with a lawn, sun terrace, as well as a children's and a baby pool. Bath towels, sun loungers, and parasols are included at the pool and on the beach. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel complex.

Double Room

The double rooms are furnished with a combination of elegance and comfort. Decorated in a traditional Cretan style, the rooms feature a bath/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning (individually adjustable in the bungalows, centrally controlled in the main building), satellite TV, telephone, minibar (for a fee), and a safe, as well as a balcony or terrace (2DB).
Double rooms for sole use are identical in equipment and are mostly located in the main building (1DB).

Double Room Deluxe Sea View

The Deluxe double rooms are located in the main building and offer higher-quality amenities than the standard double rooms, including a walk-in shower, separate WC, vanity mirror, bathrobes and slippers, air conditioning, minibar (for a fee), electronic safe, and a balcony with sea view (DDM).
Starting in summer 2027, the Double Room Deluxe Sea View will also be bookable for sole use (DME).

Bungalow Sea View

These rooms are in a traditional Cretan style and located in the bungalow area. They consist of a bedroom with a sitting area and feature a bath/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, individually adjustable air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, minibar (for a fee), safe, and a balcony or terrace with sea view (B2M/BAM).

Bungalow Seafront

Located in the first bungalow row, these rooms consist of an elegantly furnished bedroom with a sitting area, bath/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, individually adjustable air conditioning, safe, and a balcony or terrace with panoramic sea views (WF2/2AX).

Bungalow Suite Waterfront

Fully renovated for summer 2025, these rooms feature a bathroom with a walk-in shower and separate WC, hairdryer, toiletries, vanity mirror, bathrobes, slippers, air conditioning/heating, electronic safe, satellite TV, minibar (for a fee), and a balcony or terrace with sea view (2BM).

Luxury Double Room Sea View

Located in the main building, these luxury rooms feature an elegantly furnished bedroom with an armchair bed, a bathroom with a separate walk-in shower, freestanding bathtub, and separate WC, vanity mirror, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, toiletries, as well as air conditioning/heating, electronic safe, minibar (for a fee), satellite TV, and a balcony with breathtaking sea views. The luxury rooms are available with a king-size bed or two luxurious single beds (2LV).

Family Suite

Family suites with garden view are located in the bungalow villages or the main building. They consist of a spacious and comfortably equipped living room with sleeping options (some with a connecting door), a separate bedroom with a sitting area, bath/WC, satellite TV, minibar (for a fee), and air conditioning (partly in both rooms), and include a balcony or terrace (2FS).
Alternatively, bookable with sea view in the bungalow villages for an extra charge (2FM).

Bungalow Suite Sea View

Located in the bungalow villages, these consist of a spacious and comfortably equipped living room with sleeping options (some with a connecting door), a bedroom with a sitting area, bath/WC, satellite TV, minibar (for a fee), and air conditioning (partly in both rooms), as well as a balcony or terrace with sea view (LBM).

Deluxe Family Suite

These high-quality, spacious Deluxe family suites are located in the main building or bungalow area. Deluxe Bungalow Suite Sea View

These high-quality, generously sized Deluxe bungalow suites are located in the bungalow village and have been renovated in recent years. They feature a combined living and sleeping area as well as a separate bedroom with seating. Amenities include a shower (some with bathtub and shower, some with only a shower or walk-in shower), separate WC, vanity mirror, hairdryer, bathrobes, and slippers. Additionally, air conditioning in both rooms, electronic safe, satellite TV, telephone, and a minibar (for a fee) are provided. The suites also offer a balcony or terrace with sea view (FDM).

Luxury Suite Sea View

The luxury suites are located in the main building or the bungalow village. They are very spacious and offer a unique design, fully furnished balcony or terrace, and are situated on either the ground or first floor with breathtaking sea views. They consist of a generous bedroom with a king-size bed and sitting area, a separate living room with sofa beds, and two bathrooms. The larger bathroom features a freestanding bathtub and a separate walk-in shower, while the second bathroom offers a walk-in shower. Both bathrooms have a separate WC. The suites also feature air conditioning/heating, satellite TV, safe, minibar (for a fee), vanity mirror, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, and toiletries (L22).

Premium Suite Sea View

The generously sized Premium suites feature two bathrooms with a freestanding bathtub and separate walk-in shower, a guest WC, makeup mirror, bathrobes, slippers, and toiletries. They also offer a living room with a dining area, two bedrooms (one with a king-size bed and one with two single beds), as well as a walk-in closet. Further amenities include air conditioning, three satellite TVs, a safe, and a minibar (for a fee) (MP2).

Half Board/Full Board

Breakfast (7:30–10:30 a.m.) is served as a rich American buffet in the main "Artemis" restaurant. Dinner (7:00–9:30 p.m.) is also offered in buffet form in the main restaurant.
An early-bird breakfast is available upon request.

For guests with full board, lunch (1:00–2:30 p.m.) is served as a buffet in the "Artemis" main restaurant or as a set menu in the "Thalassa" à-la-carte restaurant.
Drinks are not included with lunch or dinner.
Vegetarian, lactose-free, and gluten-free dishes are available. A dress code applies for dinner.

For children aged 4 to 12, the miniclub offers a varied program in the morning and afternoon, as well as a mini-disco. During the high season (July/August), a youth program is also provided. A separate children's pool and a baby pool with freshwater are part of the hotel facilities.

Destination information

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government introduced a Climate Resilience Fee, which the guest must pay locally, similar to a tourist tax.
