The Hotel Kalimera Kriti is located on the northeast coast of Crete, directly on two fine sandy beaches, approximately 45 km east of Heraklion and only about 900 m from the town of Sissi. The town center of Sissi features a picturesque small harbor with shops, tavernas, and traditional cafes. The airport is approximately 45 km away, and a bus stop is located about 260 m away.

The resort, consisting of a main building and three bungalow villages in Cretan style, features a lobby with 24-hour reception, lounge areas, a main restaurant, and conference rooms. In the colorful Mediterranean garden, there is a center with shops, an à-la-carte restaurant, a main bar, and a snack/pool bar. Furthermore, there is an impressive natural stone cave, a beach bar, and 3 freshwater pools (one with Olympic dimensions, one adults-only pool, and an indoor pool) with sunbathing lawns, a sun terrace, as well as a children's pool and a baby pool. Bath towels, sun loungers, and parasols are included at the pool and on the beach. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the entire hotel grounds.

Double Room

The double rooms are decorated in a combination of elegance and comfort. Furnished in a traditional Cretan style, the rooms feature bath/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning (individually adjustable in the bungalows, centrally controlled in the main building), satellite TV, telephone, minibar (for a fee), safe, and balcony or terrace (2DB).
Double rooms for single use, with the same facilities, are mostly located in the main building (1DB).

Double Room Deluxe Sea View

The Deluxe Double Rooms are located in the main building and, compared to the standard double rooms, feature higher-quality amenities including a walk-in shower, separate WC, vanity mirror, bathrobes and slippers, air conditioning, minibar (for a fee), electronic safe, as well as a balcony with a sea view (DDM).
From Summer 2027, the Double Room Deluxe Sea View can also be booked for single use (DME).

Bungalow Sea View

These rooms are designed in a traditional Cretan style, are located in the bungalow area, consist of a bedroom with a seating area, and feature bath/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, individually adjustable air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, minibar (for a fee), safe, and a balcony or terrace with a sea view (B2M/BAM).

Bungalow Seafront

The rooms are located in the first bungalow row and consist of an elegantly furnished bedroom with a seating area, bath/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, individually adjustable air conditioning, safe, and a balcony or terrace with panoramic sea views (WF2/2AX).

Bungalow Suite Waterfront

These suites are also located in the first bungalow row and consist of an elegantly furnished bedroom with a seating area, a living room (some with a sofa bed), bath/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, individually adjustable air conditioning, satellite TV, minibar (for a fee), safe, and a balcony or terrace with panoramic sea views (W2B).

These rooms, completely renovated for Summer 2025, feature bathrooms with a walk-in shower and separate WC, hairdryer, toiletries, vanity mirror, bathrobes, slippers, air conditioning/heating, electronic safe, satellite TV, minibar (for a fee), as well as a balcony or terrace with a sea view (2BM).

Luxury Double Room Sea View

The luxury rooms are located in the main building and feature an elegantly furnished bedroom with an armchair bed, a bathroom with a separate floor-level shower, a free-standing bathtub, and a separate WC, vanity mirror, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, toiletries, as well as air conditioning/heating, electronic safe, minibar (for a fee), satellite TV, and a balcony with breathtaking sea views. The luxury rooms are available with a king-size bed or two luxurious single beds (2LV).

Family Suite

Family suites with garden views are located in the bungalow villages or the main building and consist of a spacious, comfortably furnished living area with sleeping options (some with connecting doors), a separate bedroom with a seating area, bath/WC, satellite TV, minibar (for a fee), and air conditioning (sometimes in both rooms), and include a balcony or terrace (2FS).
Optionally available with sea view, located in the bungalow villages, for an extra charge (2FM).

Deluxe Bungalow Suite Sea View

The high-quality Deluxe Bungalow Suites are generously proportioned, located in the bungalow village, and have been renovated in recent years. They feature a living and sleeping area as well as a separate bedroom with seating. Amenities include a shower (some with bathtub and shower, some only with a shower or walk-in shower), separate WC, vanity mirror, hairdryer, bathrobes, and slippers. Additionally, there is air conditioning in both rooms, an electronic safe, satellite TV, telephone, and a minibar (for a fee). The suites also offer a balcony or terrace with sea views (FDM).

Luxury Suite Sea View

The luxury suites are located in the main building or the bungalow village, are very spacious and offer a unique design, a fully furnished balcony or terrace, and are situated on the ground floor or first floor with a breathtaking sea view. They consist of a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed and seating area, a separate living room with sofa beds, and two bathrooms. The larger bathroom features a free-standing bathtub and a separate floor-level shower, while the second bathroom offers a floor-level shower. Both bathrooms have a separate WC. The suites also feature air conditioning/heating, satellite TV, safe, minibar (for a fee), vanity mirror, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, and toiletries (L22).

Premium Suite Sea View

The premium suites are generously proportioned and feature two bathrooms with a free-standing bathtub and separate walk-in shower, a guest WC, makeup mirror, bathrobes, slippers, and toiletries. Additionally, they offer a living room with dining area, two bedrooms (one with a king-size bed and one with two single beds), and a walk-in wardrobe. Further amenities include air conditioning, three satellite TV sets, a safe, and a minibar (for a fee) (MP2).

Half board/Full board

Breakfast (7:30–10:30 AM) is served as a rich American buffet in the main restaurant "Artemis". Dinner (7:00–9:30 PM) is also offered as a buffet in the main restaurant.
An early-bird breakfast is available upon request.

For guests on full board, lunch (1:00–2:30 PM) is served as a buffet in the main restaurant "Artemis" or as a menu in the à-la-carte restaurant "Thalassa".
Drinks are not included during lunch/dinner.
Vegetarian dishes as well as lactose- and gluten-free meals are available. A dress code applies for dinner.

Sports included

The free sports and leisure offerings include football, gymnastics and water gymnastics, mini-golf, beach volleyball, table tennis, yoga, Pilates, spinning, and stretching.

The Crete Golf Club, the only 18-hole golf course on Crete, is located just about 20 km from the hotel in the hilly inland of the island.
New tennis center "PCT Tennis Academy" with 26 clay courts and 5 Padel courts.

For children aged 4 to 12, the mini-club offers a varied program in the morning and afternoon as well as a mini-disco. During high season (July/August), a youth program is also provided. A separate children's pool and a baby pool with freshwater are part of the hotel facilities.

Wellness

The spa and wellness center features a heated indoor pool (in April and October), a sauna, and a steam bath, which can be used free of charge. Furthermore, various wellness and beauty treatments are offered for a fee.

Climate Resilience Tax Information

For stays from Jan 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and has been tiered from 0.50 euros to 15 euros per day per room starting Jan 1, 2025.
For stays in high season (Apr 1 - Oct 31):
