Location

The Palm Bay Hotel is quietly located in Sissi, above the small harbor, and is separated from the bay by only a narrow road. The complex is surrounded by lush greenery, and nearby there are some shops, cafes, bars, as well as restaurants and tavernas. Bus connection to Heraklion and Agios Nikolas, stop 200m from the hotel.

The complex has a total of 81 rooms and offers a 24-hour reception, lounge with terrace, TV corner, restaurant, and a bar. In the outdoor area of the complex, there is a freshwater swimming pool with sun terrace, sun loungers, and umbrellas (included). Wi-Fi is included throughout the complex. Loungers and umbrellas are available at the beach through third-party providers for a fee.

The friendly rooms are decorated in a traditional Cretan style and offer a shower/WC, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, safe (included), telephone, satellite TV, mini-fridge, and a balcony or terrace (D). Also bookable as a triple room (3DR).

The family rooms (DF2) have the same amenities as the double rooms but are more spacious and have an extra bed.

Notice for Climate Resilience Contribution

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government is levying a climate resilience contribution, which is payable by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax.
