Location

This wonderful 3-star hotel is located in the idyllic landscape of Rethymnon on the shores of the Cretan Sea, surrounded by the beautiful old town of Rethymnon. In the old town, the impressive influence of various cultures is still palpable, for example in the magnificent Fortezza Castle or the picturesque harbor. The Ideon Hotel is located approximately 500 m from the beach and the nearest shopping facilities are about 200 m away. The wonderful sights and special features of the city of Rethymnon can be reached from the hotel in just a few minutes. The nearest airport (CHQ) is approximately 67 km away. Heraklion Airport (HER) is about 80 km away.

The 4-story city hotel has 100 rooms spread across a main building and 2 annexes. It is equipped with a reception, a lobby with a bar, an elevator, a safe (for a fee), a parking lot (free of charge), and currency exchange facilities. Two restaurants (air-conditioned) take care of your physical well-being. You can round off an eventful day at the hotel bar.

Destination information - Climate resilience fee

For stays starting from January 1, 2018, the Greek government charges a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, comparable to a tourist tax.
