Location

The newly built Oros Luxury Beach Resort is quietly located on the outskirts of Episkopi. A "Blue Flag" awarded sandy beach is in the immediate vicinity. The city center of Rethymno can be reached after approx. 8 km. Chania Airport is approx. 55 km away and Heraklion Airport approx. 95 km away.

The modern resort features 226 rooms and a reception area with a 24-hour front desk. Gastronomic options include the main restaurant "Órizontas", three à-la-carte restaurants "Yaku" (Japanese-Peruvian fusion cuisine), "Madaros" (Cretan cuisine) and "Pool Club Restaurant" (grill restaurant), a pool/snack bar, the lobby bar "Aperanto" and the "Palm Club Bar". There is also a wine cellar, a boutique and a mini-market.
In the well-tended outdoor area, there are two pools and a beach section. Sun loungers, parasols and beach towels are available free of charge at both the pool and the beach.
Wi-Fi is included throughout the entire resort and in the rooms.

The Deluxe Double Rooms are equipped with a double bed and a sofa bed, and also feature a semi-open bathroom with a walk-in shower/WC, double vanity, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, Smart TV with satellite and music channels, safe, electric kettle, Nespresso machine, and a balcony or terrace with sea view (DDM).
Also available for single occupancy (D1M).

The Deluxe Double Rooms Private Pool have the same facilities as the Deluxe Double Rooms but with a private pool (TP2).
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for prudent behavior and special attention when using this area.

Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for bookings of these room types.

Junior Suite Private Pool Sea View

The Junior Suites consist of a combined living/sleeping room, are spacious, equipped with a king-size bed and two sofa beds, and feature a semi-open bathroom with a walk-in shower/WC, double vanity, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, Smart TV with satellite and music channels, safe, electric kettle, Nespresso machine, and a terrace with a private pool and sea view (J2M).

Furthermore, these luxurious rooms offer individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, Smart TV with satellite and music channels, safe, electric kettle, Nespresso machine, as well as a terrace with a private pool and sea view (L2O).

The 2-Bedroom Villa consists of two separate bedrooms, equipped with a total of two king-size beds and two sofa beds, a spacious living area, a fully equipped kitchenette, and each has a semi-open bathroom with a double vanity, separate shower, and WC. The bathroom in the master bedroom also has a separate bathtub. Furthermore, the villas have individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, Smart TV with satellite and music channels, safe, electric kettle, Nespresso machine, and a terrace with a private pool (V22).

Óros Suite 2 Bedroom Private Pool Sea View (bookable from Summer 2027)

The Óros Suite features two open-plan bedrooms with king-size beds, two sofa beds, and two bathrooms with double vanity, bathtub, and walk-in shower. The suite is complemented by a spacious living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a terrace with a private pool. Further equipment includes individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, Smart TV with satellite and music channels, safe, electric kettle, and a Nespresso machine (22O).

Breakfast/Half board

Breakfast buffet from 7:30-10:30 a.m. in the main restaurant.
Early-bird breakfast available from 6:00-7:30 a.m.
If half board is booked, an additional dinner in buffet form in the main restaurant from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
Optionally, dinner can be taken à la carte once a week (reservation required).
The hotel additionally offers vegetarian alternatives.

All Inclusive

Breakfast (7:30-10:30 a.m.), lunch (12:30-3:10 p.m.), and dinner (6:00-9:30 p.m.) in buffet form in the main restaurant.
Once a week, dinner can be taken at the à-la-carte restaurant (reservation required).
For children, a snack bar is available from 12:00-5:00 p.m.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included from 10:00 a.m. to midnight at the currently open bar.

Note on climate resilience fee

For stays starting from 1.1.2018, the Greek government charges a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on site, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day and room starting 1.1.2025.
For stays in the high season 1.4.-31.10.
