The Jo An Beach Hotel, which was partially renovated in 2024, is located directly on the sand/fine gravel beach of Rethymnon, only approx. 5.5 km from the town center. The distance to Heraklion Airport is approx. 80 km, and to Chania Airport approx. 75 km.

The attractive complex with a total of 147 rooms spread across several buildings with 2 floors features a 24-hour reception with a lobby, a main bar, and a main restaurant with a terrace. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the complex. The outdoor area includes 2 freshwater swimming pools with a sun terrace, a separate children's pool, a pool/snackbar, and a beach bar. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool and available for a fee on the beach.

Double Room

Rooms have a shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, bathrobes, slippers, individually adjustable air conditioning (included), telephone, safety deposit box (rental), 21" plasma satellite TV, refrigerator, electric kettle, coffee/tea making facilities, and a balcony or terrace (D).
Also available as a Super Saver room (SSZ), as a single room (DE), or with a side sea view (DMS).

Superior Double Room

These rooms have the same amenities as the Double Rooms, but were renovated in 2024 and also feature a 45" satellite TV (DSU). Optionally available with a side sea view at an additional charge (D2S).

Family Room

With the same amenities as the Double Rooms, these rooms feature a separate living/bedroom (DF2).
Optionally available at an additional charge, consisting of a combined living/bedroom area, with an additional bathroom/WC and 2 separate bedrooms with a connecting door (2FZ).

Maisonette with 2 Bedrooms

With the same amenities as the Comfort Double Rooms, these rooms feature a living area and a bedroom on the ground floor with a connecting door, and a further bedroom with a bathroom/WC on the upper floor in an open maisonette style (MN3).

Continental breakfast buffet (7:30 AM - 10 AM) and dinner (6:30 PM - 9 PM), also served buffet style.

Alternatively, if booking Half Board, lunch (12:30 PM - 2 PM) can be taken buffet style instead of dinner.

Continental breakfast buffet (7:30 AM - 10 AM), lunch (12:30 PM - 2 PM), and dinner (6:30 PM - 9 PM), also served buffet style. Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages such as mineral water, soft drinks, fruit juices, draft beer, house wine, ouzo, raki, Greek brandy, long drinks, and non-alcoholic cocktails are included from 11 AM to 11 PM. Information on climate resilience fee

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, payable by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, from 01.01.2025, will range from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day per room.
