Location

The hotel, managed with great attention to detail, is centrally located in the resort of Platanias, only approx. 200 m from the beautiful sand/pebble beach. Cafés, restaurants, and shops are nearby. Rethymnon is only about 5 km away. A local bus stop is located opposite the hotel. Chania Airport is approx. 72 km away and Heraklion Airport is approx. 77 km away.

Facilities

The hotel, built in Cretan bungalow style with a total of 137 modernly furnished rooms spread across the main building and several two-story annex buildings (partly outside the complex), offers its guests a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a lounge with a terrace, TV corner, library, internet corner, bar, a main restaurant, and an à la carte restaurant. Wi-Fi is included in public areas. The outdoor area of the hotel features a freshwater swimming pool with a children's pool, sun terrace with loungers and umbrellas (included), a seating terrace, and the pool/snack bar. Loungers and umbrellas are included at the pool and available for a fee at the beach.

Double Room

The modern and friendly furnished rooms feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, various olive oil toiletries, air conditioning, telephone, Wi-Fi (included), a safe (rental fee), satellite TV with music channel, kettle, slippers, refrigerator, and a balcony or terrace (D). The rooms are located in the main building and the annex buildings.
Also available as a Super-Saver room (SSZ) or for single occupancy (DE/DEA).

Superior Double Room

In addition to the amenities of the double rooms, these feature more modern furnishings such as an LCD TV with USB media player, Nespresso machine, bathrobes and slippers, hydro-jet shower, an upgraded mattress, and beach towels (DSU/DSI). The rooms are located in the main building and annex buildings.

The family rooms consist of a living/sleeping area and a separate bedroom with a connecting door, and feature a telephone, safe (rental fee), satellite TV, Wi-Fi (included), kettle, slippers, music channel, refrigerator, air conditioning, bath/WC, and a balcony (DF2). The rooms are located in the main building and annex buildings.

Meals

Half Board

Breakfast (7:30 AM - 10:30 AM) and dinner with live cooking (6:30 PM - 9:30 PM) served as a rich buffet. The cuisine primarily uses Cretan products and local olive oil.
Gluten-free and lactose-free meals are available upon request. Please contact the reception on-site.
Appropriate attire is requested for dinner.

Note on climate resilience contribution

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience contribution, which is to be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is staggered from €0.50 to €15 per day and room from January 1, 2025.
