Quietly located directly by three hotel-owned coves with a sand/pebble beach in a tranquil setting. The towns of Panormos and Rethymnon, with various shopping and entertainment options, are approximately 3 and 18 km away respectively. (Local bus connections available).

The renowned complex, renovated in 2024, has a total of 361 rooms (118 in the main building and 243 in the bungalow buildings), an entrance area with lobby and reception, elevators in the main building, shopping arcade, conference room, main restaurant, 3 à-la-carte restaurants, a main bar, 5 additional bars, and a mini-spa. The outdoor area features three seawater swimming pools (renovated in 2024) with sun loungers and parasols, a separate seawater children's pool, another children's pool with freshwater, a small pirate ship and waterslides, a heated indoor pool in the spa area (freshwater, only operates in the low season), and a relaxation pool. Guests receive towels for the pool and beach via a card system at the hotel. Sun loungers and parasols are included on the beach (subject to availability). The new aquapark with water games and slides, newly built for summer 2025 at the Iberostar Waves Creta Panorama, can also be used.

Double room

The spacious rooms are located in the main building and have been renovated since summer 2023. They feature twin beds, a sofa bed for the third person, shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning (hot/cold), safe, satellite TV with music channel, Wi-Fi (included), telephone, refrigerator, minibar (for a fee), kettle, and balcony or terrace on the garden side (D).
Optionally bookable for an additional charge as a double room with sea view (DM/DMA/DMI) or for single use on request (DE/1GD/DGE).

Bungalow

These offer the same facilities as the double rooms but are located in the garden area (BG2). Also optionally bookable with sea view (B2M/B2I) or as a Bungalow Waterfront located directly by the sea (BW2).

Family room

The family rooms are located in the main building and feature a living/sleeping area with 2 sofa beds as well as a separate bedroom with twin beds, shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning (hot/cold), safe, satellite TV with music channel, Wi-Fi (included), telephone, refrigerator, minibar (for a fee), kettle, and a balcony (DF2). Optionally bookable as rooms renovated in summer 2023 with sea view (F2M).

Suite Superior sea view (HER040I)

The suites offer plenty of space and are located on the upper floors of the main building. They feature two bathrooms, a separate bedroom, a living area with a sofa bed, TV, air conditioning, telephone, shower/WC, safe, and balcony (SUM/U2M).

Bungalow garden view sharing pool (HER040I)

These bungalow rooms are located on the ground floor. Amenities include air conditioning, safe, telephone, shower/WC, double bed or two single beds, sofa bed, and a terrace with access to a shared pool (BX2/BXA).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased safety risk for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen applies a minimum age of 6 years for bookings of these room types.

The bungalows are located on the ground floor with access to a shared pool and offer a magnificent sea view (SBW/ABW).

Double room sea view whirlpool (HER040I)

These renovated double rooms are located in the main building and feature air conditioning, telephone, hairdryer, shower/WC, safe, TV, and a balcony with an outdoor whirlpool (WDM).
Double room sea view whirlpool type A is bookable for stays of 14 days or more (WAM).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased safety risk for small children.

Meals

Half board or All Inclusive

Meals in buffet style. Appropriate clothing is requested for dinner. Gentlemen are requested to wear shirts and long trousers at dinner (elegant dress code, no flip-flops, etc.).
Lactose-free, gluten-free, and yeast-free meals are available on-site upon request (please contact and register at the reception upon arrival).

All Inclusive

All Inclusive

Early bird breakfast (5:00-7:00 am), breakfast (7:30-10:15 am), lunch (12:30-2:30 pm), and dinner (6:30-9:30 pm/June-September 7:00-10:00 pm) in buffet style. Dinner is included twice a week in the à-la-carte restaurants (reservation required).
Late breakfast in the Italian restaurant (10:30-11:30 am, reservation required) and lunch (12:30-3:30 pm) as well as coffee and pastries (4:00-5:00 pm). Snacks at the "Helios" pool bar and the "Anatoli Ouzo Bar" from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm (May-September, weather permitting). A food truck offering Greek street food serves souvlaki, gyros, and selected snacks from June to September (weather permitting, 10:30 am - 6:30 pm).
Local and international alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as long drinks and cocktails, from 10:00 am - 11:45 pm at the respective open bars. Theme nights are offered several times a week.

Destination information - Climate resilience fee

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, payable by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax.
The amount is based on the type/category of accommodation and is scaled from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day and room as of January 1, 2025.
