Location

The Hotel Marina is located in a quiet area at the entrance to Matala, approx. 900 m from the sandy beach. Shopping and entertainment options can be found in the center of Matala, approx. 900 m away. Heraklion Airport is approx. 70 km away.

Facilities

The small complex has 21 rooms and was completely renovated in winter 2025/26. The hotel offers a reception with rental safes, a lobby with a bar, an internet corner, and Wi-Fi throughout the entire complex included, as well as a breakfast room. In the well-maintained outdoor area, amidst a blooming garden, is a freshwater swimming pool with a sun terrace. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool. Parking spaces can be used free of charge at the hotel.

Note on climate resilience tax

For stays from 1.1.2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience tax, which is to be paid by the guest on site, comparable to a tourist tax.
