Location

The popular hotel on the outskirts of Matala is only approx. 300 m from the fine pebble bay. Matala offers an ideal location for historical excursions and exploring famous archaeological sites, such as the Palace of Phaistos. The distance to Heraklion Airport is approx. 55 km.

The hotel comprises 80 rooms spread across a main and a side building. The main building houses the reception (24h) with a lobby, library, lift, lounge, bar, and restaurant, as well as Wi-Fi (included). The garden features a freshwater swimming pool, pool/snack bar, and children's playground. The side building contains the family rooms and double rooms. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge by the pools and for a fee at the beach through local providers.

Double room Plus

The renovated rooms have a shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, individually controlled air conditioning, Wi-Fi (included), safe (included), satellite TV, coffee/tea maker, refrigerator, and balcony or terrace (D). Also available as a single room (DE). Also bookable as Type A (DA).

Triple Superior

These rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms but are more spacious (TDS).

These rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms Superior, but are more spacious and offer an additional sleeping option (F2U).

Superior Suite 2 bedrooms

These rooms have the same amenities as the Double rooms Plus and consist of two separate bedrooms (2ZS).

Information on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government charges a climate resilience levy, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, from 01.01.2025, will be tiered from 0.50 Euro to 15 € per day per room.
For stays in high season 01.04.-31.10.
