Location

The popular hotel on the outskirts of Matala is only approx. 300m from the fine pebble beach. The location in Matala is optimal for historical excursions and exploring famous archaeological sites such as the Palace of Phaistos. The distance to Heraklion Airport is approx. 55 km.

The hotel consists of 80 rooms spread across a main and a secondary building. The main building houses the reception (24h) with a lobby, library, elevator, lounge, bar, and restaurant, as well as Wi-Fi (included). In the garden, you'll find the freshwater swimming pool, pool/snackbar, and children's playground. The secondary building contains the family rooms and double rooms. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pools and available for a fee on the beach through local providers.

The renovated rooms feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, individually controlled air conditioning, Wi-Fi (included), safe (included), satellite TV, coffee/tea maker, refrigerator, and a balcony or terrace (D). Also available as a double room for single use (DE). Can also be booked as type A (DA).

Triple Superior

These rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms but are more spacious (TDS).

Note on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room starting from 01.01.2025.
