The family-friendly High Beach Hotel is located on the long, gently sloping sandy beach of Malia. Numerous shopping and entertainment venues, bars, and clubs are in the immediate vicinity. The center of Malia is approximately 800 m away. The distance to Heraklion Airport is approximately 35 km. A bus stop can be reached after approximately 750 m.

The charming complex, spread across nine buildings, features a total of 144 rooms, a reception area with 24-hour reception, the "Estia" main restaurant, the rooftop à la carte restaurant "Elia", as well as three bars and the "Veranda" pool bar restaurant. The well-maintained grounds include a sun terrace, 4 swimming pools (one of which is heated), a separate children's pool, and a whirlpool. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included at both the pool and the beach. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel complex.

The tastefully furnished double rooms feature a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, slippers, care products, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, Nespresso coffee machine (daily replenishment of espresso capsules included), coffee/tea station, mini-fridge (one bottle of mineral water included daily), rental safe, as well as a balcony or terrace (D/DI). Optionally, these can also be booked as super saver rooms without slippers (SSZ, bookable until Summer 2026).

Double Room Deluxe

The Deluxe rooms are slightly more spacious and feature a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, slippers, care products, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, Nespresso coffee machine (daily replenishment of espresso capsules included), coffee/tea station, mini-fridge (one bottle of mineral water included daily), rental safe, as well as a balcony or terrace. Additionally, the rooms feature a 43'' Smart TV, higher-quality care products, bathrobes, bath towels, and a small sitting area (DD2/D2I). A sofa bed is available for a third person in the room.
For bookings made by March 31, 2026, for the 2026 summer season, guests are additionally provided with two sun loungers and one sun umbrella at the beach, pre-reserved by the hotel with the room number specified.

Double Room Deluxe Lateral Sea View

With the same amenities as the Deluxe Double rooms, these rooms feature a side sea view. Additionally, two sun loungers and one sun umbrella are pre-reserved for guests at the beach, with the room number specified (DDS/ID2).

Maisonette

On the ground floor is the living area with 1-2 sofa beds, shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, two satellite TVs, coffee/tea station, high-quality care products, Nespresso coffee machine (espresso capsules included), mineral water (one bottle included daily), bath towels (included), bathrobes and slippers, mini-fridge, rental safe, and a terrace. On the 1st floor is the separate bedroom (access via a staircase in open maisonette style, M2).

Deluxe Family Room

The Deluxe family rooms consist of two separate bedrooms, equipped with a king-size bed in one and two single beds in the other bedroom. Junior Suite Sea View Aquamarine

The spacious Junior Suites Sea View Aquamarine consist of a combined living/sleeping area with a king-size bed and a sofa bed, as well as a sitting area. Suite Diamond Beach Sea View

The Suite Diamond Beach Sea View has the same amenities as the Junior Suite Sea View Aquamarine, but is slightly larger and offers a fantastic sea view due to its first-row beach location (SDM). Additionally, two sun loungers and one sun umbrella are reserved for guests at the beach, with the room number specified.

Emerald Suite Sea View

With the same amenities as the Junior Suite Sea View Aquamarine, the open-plan Emerald Suites Sea View are significantly more spacious, offering perfect conditions for relaxing comfort (S2M). Additionally, two sun loungers and one sun umbrella are reserved for guests at the beach, with the room number specified.

Pasiphae Beachfront Villa

The exclusive and luxurious villa spans two floors. The ground floor features an approximately 50 m² open-plan area combining the living room and a fully equipped kitchen with a bathroom with shower/WC. The first floor features a bedroom of approximately 50 m², equipped with a king-size bed and two sofa beds, with a private WC and hydromassage bathtub, offering ultimate relaxation with breathtaking sea views. A private 55 m² garden, perfect for enjoying the sun and sea in a quiet and secluded environment, is also part of the villa. Furthermore, the villa features additional amenities such as high-quality care products, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, two 55" Smart TVs, Nespresso coffee machine (espresso capsules included), mineral water (one bottle included daily), a minibar stocked with soft drinks upon arrival (replenishment for a fee), bath towels, and a welcome package upon arrival (snacks, mineral water, and a bottle of wine). Chef prepares pizza in modern stone oven kitchen.

All Inclusive

Breakfast (7:30 am - 10:30 am), lunch (12:30 pm - 2:30 pm), and dinner (6:30 pm - 9:30 pm) in buffet style. Children's buffet for lunch and dinner, including fish, pasta, French fries, and pizza. An early-bird breakfast is available from 7 am - 7:30 am, and a late-riser breakfast from 10:30 am - 11 am.
Snacks, ice cream, and waffles are included from 11 am - 6 pm at the "Tropicana Vitamin Pool Bar".
The "Il Forno" pizzeria serves homemade pizza from 11 am - 6 pm.
Local non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages such as soft drinks, juices, wine, beer, coffee, and tea are included from 10 am - 11 pm at the respective open bar.
Once per stay, a 4-course menu in the "Veranda" restaurant or a 5-course menu in the "Elia" restaurant is included (reservation one day in advance required).
Once per stay, access to the cocktail bar is also included (reservation required).

Ultra All Inclusive

In addition to the services mentioned above, local and selected international non-alcoholic and alcoholic brand beverages, such as whiskey (Johnnie Walker, Haig, Mackenzie, Red Label, etc.), rum (e.g., Havana Club, Bacardi), gin, tequila, Martini, brandy, vodka, soft drinks, juices, cocktails, wine, beer, coffee, and tea are included from 10 am - 12 am at the respective open bar.
Access to the adult-only "Sunset" bar, which serves international alcoholic beverages, cocktails, long drinks, premium spirits, wine, beer, and soft drinks (Black Labels for a fee) from 6 pm - 11 pm (May to October), is included (reservation required).
Once per stay, a 5-course menu in the "Elia" à la carte restaurant and a 4-course menu in the "Veranda" restaurant are included for all room types (reservation at least one day in advance required).

Sports included

Table tennis, darts, the gym, the outdoor fitness area, as well as the mini-soccer field and mini-basketball court can be used free of charge. For padel, a fee only applies when using the floodlights.

Note on climate resilience levy

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government imposes a climate resilience levy, which the guest must pay locally, similar to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day and room from January 1, 2025.
