Location

The Danaides Hotel Apts. is located in the center of Malia, approximately 700 m from the sandy beach. Shopping and entertainment options are in the immediate vicinity. Heraklion Airport is approximately 35 km away.

Facilities

The small, family-friendly complex has 26 rooms and offers a reception (staffed 12 hours a day), lobby, Wi-Fi (included throughout the complex), a swimming pool, separate children's pool, sun terrace, and pool/snack bar. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included at the pool and available for a fee at the beach.

Studio

The studios feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning (for a fee), one double bed or two single beds, Wi-Fi, safe (for a fee), flatscreen satellite TV, kitchenette (fridge, one hot plate, kettle, tableware), dining area, as well as a balcony or terrace (S12). Also available for single use (S11).

Apartment 1 bedroom

With otherwise the same facilities as the studios, the apartments feature a separate bedroom with a double bed or 2 single beds as well as 2 sofa beds (A12).

Information on climate resilience fee

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a local tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day and room as of January 1, 2025.
For stays in the high season April 1 - October 31:
