Location

The Giannoulis Grand Bay Beach Resort, which welcomes guests aged 16 and over, is located directly on the approximately 3 km long sandy and pebble beach of Kolymbari, which has been awarded the "Blue Flag". The picturesque fishing village still retains its traditional Cretan style. The resort is located about 25 km from Chania town, the distance to Chania Airport is approx. 44 km, and to Heraklion Airport about 160 km. The famous Samaria Gorge is only about 40 km away. This makes the resort the ideal starting point for excursions into the impressive nature, to Crete's most famous beaches such as Balos Lagoon and Elafonisi, as well as to cultural sights of the island.

This elegant adults-only all-inclusive resort features 78 rooms and suites. For culinary variety, there are two à la carte restaurants, "Azzuro" and "Sea Line Taverne", as well as a buffet restaurant. Two bars are also available. The four outdoor pools, including a river-style relaxation pool, offer tranquility. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge on the spacious sun terrace and on the beach. Further amenities include a 24-hour reception and a spa. Wi-Fi is included throughout the complex.

The spacious rooms are elegantly furnished with a large marble bathroom featuring a bath/shower, toilet, bathrobes, slippers, pool/beach towels, telephone, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, toiletries, air conditioning (centrally controlled), satellite TV, minibar (for a fee), a rental safe, and a furnished terrace or balcony (D). Double rooms with sea view and balcony (DM) are also available.

Double Room Sharing Pool

Alternatively, double rooms are also available with a terrace, sun loungers, umbrella, and direct access to one of the two main pools (PZ2) or with direct access to the sharing pool, sun loungers, umbrella, and sea view (M2H).
The sharing pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We kindly ask for careful behavior and extra attention when using this area.

Suite

In addition to the amenities of the double rooms, the suites feature a separate living and sleeping area with a small dining area (S2).

Junior Suite Seafront

With the same amenities as the double rooms, the junior suites consist of a combined living/sleeping area with a small dining area. The junior suites are located directly on the beach (J2M).
Alternatively, with access via three steps to the communal terrace with a private umbrella and sun loungers. Access to the main pool is also available (JF2).

Breakfast in the buffet restaurant (7:30 AM - 10 AM), lunch in the buffet restaurant (1 PM - 3 PM) or à la carte restaurant (reservation required, drinks at extra charge), dinner in the buffet restaurant (7 PM - 9:30 PM) or à la carte restaurant (reservation required, drinks at extra charge – minimum spend €15 per person).
Ice cream is served in the main restaurant from 10 AM to 9:30 PM. Snacks are offered from 11 AM to 12 PM.
