The Avra Imperial Resort & Spa is located in the middle of a 65,000 m² garden complex, about 100 m from the beautiful sandy/pebble beach of Kolymbari. The resort is just a 3-minute walk from the picturesque village of Kolymbari. Chania Airport can be reached in about 39 km, while Heraklion Airport is approx. 165 km away. A public bus stop is located directly in front of the hotel.

The family-friendly hotel with a total of 328 rooms offers guests a lobby with a 24-hour reception, TV area, elevator, main restaurant, 3 à-la-carte restaurants, "Aura" pool snack bar (10 a.m.–6 p.m.), lounge with lounge bar (5 p.m.–1 a.m.), and a beach bar. Furthermore, there is a mini-market, hairdresser, nail studio, as well as three freshwater pools and two children's pools. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included at both the pool and the beach. The design-oriented rooms feature individually adjustable air conditioning/heating, telephone, safe, LED TV, minibar (on request, for a fee), coffee/tea station, a luxurious marble bathroom with a bathtub with separate hydromassage shower, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, bathrobe, slippers, as well as a furnished balcony or terrace (DD2).

Deluxe Double Room Sharing Pool

With the same facilities as the Deluxe Double Rooms, these feature direct access to the sharing pool (SH2).

The family rooms feature the same amenities as the Deluxe Double Rooms, are designed in an open-plan style, and have a combined living/sleeping area with optical separation, a spacious sofa bed, an espresso machine, and are more spacious (DF2).

Junior Suite Private Pool

The design-oriented junior suites feature a luxurious marble bathroom with hairdryer, hydromassage shower, bathrobe and slippers, individually adjustable air conditioning, a seating area, telephone, safe, 50" Smart TV, minibar (included on arrival, refilled for a fee), coffee/tea station, espresso machine, beach bag, as well as a furnished terrace with sun loungers and a private pool (ZJP).

Half Board

Breakfast is served as a buffet in the "Basilico" restaurant and in the "Xatheri" restaurant (7:30 a.m.–10:30 a.m., Xatheri from age 13).
Dinner takes place as a buffet in the "Basilico" and "Xatheri" restaurants (6:30 p.m.–9:30 p.m., Xatheri from age 13).
Dinner can optionally be exchanged for lunch in the à-la-carte restaurant "Blue Dong".
Drinks at dinner are not included.
Guests with booked half board benefit from the Dine-Around program in the à-la-carte restaurants "Avra Seaside Bar" & Restaurant, "Al Fresco", and "Blue Dong". With booked half board, a 30% discount applies to the entire food bill. Drinks are not included.
A children's corner in the main restaurant as well as children's menus in all à-la-carte restaurants are available.
In the evening, casual clothing is requested in all restaurants and bars; beachwear and shorts are not permitted.

All Inclusive

Breakfast (7:30 a.m.–10:30 a.m.) and dinner (6:30 p.m.–9:30 p.m.) in the buffet restaurant "Basilico", lunch in one of the à-la-carte restaurants or in the "Blue Dong" restaurant in buffet style.
Once per week, dinner is included in the à-la-carte restaurants "Blue Dong" (Asian cuisine, 7 p.m.–11 p.m.), "Al Fresco" (Italian cuisine, 6:30 p.m.–10 p.m.), and "Avra Seaside Bar & Restaurant" (7 p.m.–10 p.m., open May 17–Oct 11); reservation required. The à-la-carte menu consists of a three-course meal.
Cold and warm snacks and ice cream are offered from 10 a.m.–6 p.m. at the beach bar and the two pool bars, as well as additionally at the main bar from 5 p.m.
Furthermore, local and selected international alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks such as water, soft drinks, coffee, tea, draft beer, house wine, spirits, long drinks, and cocktails are included from 10 a.m.–1 a.m. at the currently open bars (7:30 a.m.–4 a.m.).

Wellness

The Apivita Spa wellness center covers an area of 1,900 m² and includes an approx. 200 m² heated pool with waterfalls and hydromassage, whirlpool, Turkish steam bath, Finnish sauna (each included), relaxing massages, and various therapeutic body and facial treatments, special programs for couples, pregnant women, and brides (each for a fee), as well as a fully equipped fitness studio with a separate room for aerobics.
Entry to the Apivita Spa is not permitted for children under 14 years of age.

Destination information
