The Avra Imperial Resort & Spa is set in a 65,000 m² garden complex, about 100 m from the beautiful sand and pebble beach of Kolymbari. The resort is just a 3-minute walk from the picturesque village of Kolymbari. Chania Airport can be reached in about 39 km, while Heraklion Airport is approximately 165 km away. A public bus stop is located directly in front of the hotel.

This family-friendly hotel with a total of 328 rooms offers guests a lobby with a 24-hour reception, TV area, elevator, main restaurant, 3 à la carte restaurants, pool bar "Aura" (10 am-6 pm), lounge with a lounge bar (5 pm-1 am), and a beach bar. There is also a mini-market, hairdresser, nail salon, and three freshwater pools and two children's pools. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool and on the beach. Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. Parking is available and free to use.

These design-oriented rooms feature individually adjustable air conditioning/heating, telephone, safe, LED TV, minibar (on request, for a fee), coffee/tea station, a luxurious marble bathroom with a bathtub and separate hydromassage shower, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, bathrobe, slippers, and a furnished balcony or terrace (DD2).
Available at an additional charge also with pool view (DPB/IDD) and for single occupancy (DD1).

With the same amenities as the Double Rooms Deluxe, these rooms feature an espresso machine, 50" Smart TV, pool/beach towels, and luxurious "Apivita" toiletries, as well as a furnished terrace with sun loungers and a private pool (PT2).

Family Room

Family Rooms, with the same amenities as the Double Rooms Deluxe, are designed in an open-plan style and feature a combined living/sleeping area with a visual separation, a spacious sofa bed, an espresso machine, and are more spacious (DF2).

Junior Suite Private Pool

These design-oriented junior suites feature a luxurious marble bathroom with a hairdryer, hydromassage shower, bathrobe, and slippers, individually adjustable air conditioning, a seating area, telephone, safe, 50" Smart TV, minibar (included on arrival, refilled for a fee), coffee/tea station, espresso machine, beach bag, and a furnished terrace with sun loungers and a private pool (ZJP).

Suite Deluxe

With the same amenities as the Double Rooms Deluxe, these suites additionally feature an espresso machine, LED TV, pillow menu, and consist of a living/sleeping area, a bedroom, two bathrooms, and a balcony (S2D). The minibar is included on arrival, and one refill per week is included.

Suite Deluxe Private Pool

With the same amenities as the Deluxe Suites, these rooms feature a private pool (SP2).

These modern rooms (available for ages 13 and up) have a shower in the bathroom and, otherwise, the same amenities as the Double Rooms Deluxe, plus the amenities of the Residence Collection (see Hotel Service, PDZ).

Suite Premium Private Pool

These suites have the same amenities as the Deluxe Suites but are much larger with a private pool on the terrace (available for ages 13 and up) and also offer the amenities of the Residence Collection (see Hotel Service, X2S).

Meals

Half Board

Breakfast is served as a buffet in the "Basilico" restaurant and the "Xatheri" restaurant (7:30 am–10:30 am, Xatheri for ages 13 and up).
Dinner is served as a buffet in the "Basilico" and "Xatheri" restaurants (6:30 pm–9:30 pm, Xatheri for ages 13 and up).
Alternatively, dinner can be exchanged for lunch at the "Blue Dong" à la carte restaurant.
Drinks during dinner are not included.
Guests with Half Board booked benefit from the Dine-Around program in the à la carte restaurants "Avra Seaside Bar & Restaurant", "Al Fresco", and "Blue Dong". With Half Board booked, a 30% discount applies to the entire food bill. Drinks are not included.
A children's corner in the main restaurant and children's menus in all à la carte restaurants are available.
Casual dress code is requested in all restaurants and bars in the evening; beachwear and shorts are not permitted.

All Inclusive

All Inclusive

Breakfast (7:30 am-10:30 am) and dinner (6:30 pm-9:30 pm) in the buffet restaurant "Basilico", lunch in one of the à la carte restaurants or at the "Blue Dong" restaurant in buffet style.
Once a week, dinner at the à la carte restaurants "Blue Dong" (Asian cuisine, 7 pm-11 pm), "Al Fresco" (Italian cuisine, 6:30 pm-10 pm), "Avra Seaside Bar & Restaurant" (7 pm-10 pm, open from May 17 to October 11) is included, reservation required. The à la carte menu consists of a three-course meal.
Cold and hot snacks and ice cream are available from 10 am to 6 pm at the beach bar and the two pool bars, and from 5 pm onwards at the main bar.
In addition, local and selected international alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks such as water, soft drinks, coffee, tea, draft beer, house wine, spirits, long drinks, and cocktails are included from 10 am to 1 am at the respective open bars (7:30 am-4 am).

Children's corner in the main restaurant and children's menus in the à la carte restaurants.
A casual, chic dress code is requested in all restaurants and bars in the evening. Beachwear and shorts are not permitted.

There are two tennis courts available; floodlights can be used for a fee, and equipment is included. Table tennis is also available.

Children's program

For the little guests, there is a separate children's pool, a playground, and a kids' club with regular children's entertainment and special age-appropriate programs for children aged 4-11 years (available for children from 4 months to 3 years upon request, for a fee).

The Apivita Spa Wellness Center covers an area of 1,900 m² and includes an approx. 200 m² heated pool with waterfalls and hydromassage, whirlpool, Turkish steam bath, Finnish sauna (all included), relaxing massages, and various therapeutic body and facial treatments, special programs for couples, pregnant women, and brides (all for a fee), a fully equipped gym with a separate room for aerobics.
Access to the Apivita Spa is not permitted for children under 14 years of age.

Destination information

For stays from January 1, 2018, onwards, the Greek government charges a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, from January 1, 2025, will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room.
