Location

The family-friendly Hotel Galini Palace is located in Kolymbari, just about 50 m from the sandy beach. Shops and entertainment facilities are in the vicinity. Chania Airport is approx. 43 km away, Heraklion Airport about 165 km. A bus stop is about 140 m away.

The modern complex has 128 rooms and offers a 24-hour reception, lobby, luggage room, lift, main bar, main restaurant, and an à la carte restaurant for a fee. In the well-kept outdoor area, there is a swimming pool with a separate children's pool, a sun terrace, and a pool/snackbar, as well as the water park with slides. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included both at the pool and on the beach. Parking is available free of charge at the hotel, subject to availability. Wi-Fi is available free of charge in all areas.

The modern rooms have a shower/WC, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, rental safe, smart satellite TV, mini-fridge, coffee/tea station, and a balcony or terrace with a side sea view (DMS).

Double room private pool

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these rooms feature a private pool (without side sea view; PPZ).
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for careful behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for bookings of these room types for children.

Double room superior sharing pool

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these rooms feature access to a shared pool and a side sea view (SH2).

Maisonette

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these maisonettes have a sleeping area on the upper floor and a living/sleeping room on the lower floor with a side sea view (M2).

Continental early bird breakfast (4-7:30 a.m.), breakfast (7:30-10 a.m.), late riser breakfast (10-10:30 a.m.), lunch (1:00-2:30 p.m.), and dinner (6:30-9:30 p.m.) are served buffet-style in the main restaurant.
Vegetarian and diet menus are available on request. Please contact the reception on-site for this.
Appropriate attire (long trousers, closed shoes) is requested during meals.
Snacks and ice cream are available from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (water, soft drinks, fruit juices, draft beer, filter coffee, Nescafe, Greek coffee, cocoa, tea, 3 different bottled wines (white, red, rosé), as well as selected long drinks and cocktails) are included from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. at the respective open bar.

Information on climate resilience levy

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government is levying a climate resilience levy, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room from 01.01.2025.
