The Arina Beach Hotel is beautifully situated on the "Blue Flag" awarded beach in Kokkini Hani and is known for its excellent food and spacious accommodation and entertainment options. The complex is set within a beautiful 10-hectare garden landscape with lush vegetation, making it an ideal choice for families and couples.
The town of Gouves is approximately 1 km away, and Heraklion airport is approximately 10 km from the hotel. A bus stop is located near the hotel.

This hotel, offering excellent service, features 313 rooms spread across the main building and several annex buildings. There is also an annex building on the opposite side of the road (about 70 m from the main building), which has its own pool and is bookable only for guests aged 16 and over. Hotel amenities include a 24-hour reception, lobby, elevator, a main restaurant, "Asia-Fusion" restaurant "Sunset", à-la-carte restaurant "Avra", bars, sauna, heated indoor pool, souvenir shop, and a mini-market. The well-maintained outdoor area features a saltwater swimming pool, sun terrace, pool/snack bar, and beach bar. The hotel also has a water park with various slides. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included at the pool and beach.
Wi-Fi is included throughout the entire complex.

Accommodation

Double Room Pool View Annex

The double rooms with pool view are located in the annex building on the opposite side of the road. This 3-story building contains 32 modern rooms overlooking the annex pool. All facilities of the main building may be used. The rooms feature a double bed and shower/WC with hairdryer. They are equipped with individually adjustable air conditioning, LCD satellite TV, telephone, safe (included), mini-fridge (daily refill of water and soft drinks included), coffee/tea station, espresso machine, and a furnished balcony with pool view (DA, bookable for guests aged 16+).

Double Room for Single Use

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these rooms can be located in the main, side, or annex building (on the opposite side of the road) and offer garden/land view (DE).

Double Room Sea View

The rooms are located in the main building or in the side buildings near the main building and feature a double bed or two single beds and shower/WC with hairdryer. They are equipped with centrally controlled air conditioning (included), coffee/tea station, espresso machine, LCD TV, telephone, safe, mini-fridge (daily refill of water and soft drinks included), and a furnished balcony or terrace with sea view (DM/DMI/DMA).
A sofa bed is available for a 3rd person.

Double Room Superior Sea View

The superior double rooms with sea view have the same amenities as the double rooms with sea view but are located in the side buildings near the main building and feature a double bed and a sofa bed (DMU/MSA).

Double Room Penthouse Sea View

These rooms are located in the main building on the 4th and 5th floors and offer a breathtaking view of the sea. They feature a shower/WC with hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, and beach towels. They are equipped with centrally controlled air conditioning, safe, telephone, flat-screen satellite TV, mini-fridge (daily refill with water and soft drinks), espresso machine, and a balcony with sea view (PM2/DHI/PMO).
A sofa bed is available for a 3rd person.
Breakfast and dinner can be enjoyed in the à-la-carte restaurant "Avra" by prior reservation.

Bungalow Private Pool Beachfront

The bungalows with private pool are located in the first row directly on the beach. They offer a relaxing and romantic retreat with a beautiful view of the sea. They feature a shower/WC with hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, beach towels, and bathroom amenities. They are equipped with individually adjustable air conditioning, satellite TV, safe, telephone, mini-fridge (daily refill with soft drinks and water), espresso machine, and a terrace (2PX).
A sofa bed is available for a 3rd person.
The private pool is not monitored by a lifeguard. We ask for prudent behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for small children.
Therefore, for security reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.
Breakfast and dinner can be enjoyed in the à-la-carte restaurant "Avra" by prior reservation.

Family Room Sea View

The slightly more spacious family rooms are located in the main building or side buildings and feature a double bed and full-size beds for other persons, a separate sleeping area with sliding door, and shower/WC with hairdryer and bathroom amenities. They are equipped with centrally controlled air conditioning, flat-screen satellite TV, safe, telephone, mini-fridge (daily refill with water and soft drinks), microwave, coffee/tea maker, espresso machine, and a balcony or terrace with sea view (F2M).
Also optionally bookable as Family Room Sea View Type A with an extra sleeping option and slightly more spacious (FA2) or as Family Room Sea View Type B in open-plan style (FMB, without sliding door) located in the side buildings near the main building.

Climate Resilience Tax

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government charges a climate resilience tax, which is payable by the guest on site, comparable to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is scaled from 0.50 Euro to 15 € per day and room as of January 1, 2025.
