Location

The Molos Bay Hotel is a 4-star hotel in a quiet location directly on the sea, on the outskirts of the village of Kissamos, and is only about 50 meters from the Blue Flag beach. Chania International Airport is about 50 kilometers away, and Heraklion Airport is about 175 kilometers away. A public bus stop is within walking distance.

Facilities

The complex with a magnificent view of Molos Bay offers 45 spacious rooms, a lobby with a reception including safes, an elevator, and a TV lounge. Wi-Fi is available free of charge. The outdoor area features a sun terrace with a pool/beach bar and a swimming pool with a separate children's pool. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge by the pool, and are available for a fee on the beach. Bath towels are available for a deposit.

The rooms have a bathroom with a bathtub or shower/WC, toiletries, hairdryer, individual air conditioning, telephone, safe (for a fee), LCD TV, mini-fridge, kettle, and a balcony or terrace (D). Optionally available with a side sea view (DMS) or direct sea view (DM/DMI), as well as for single use (DE).

Suite side sea view

With the same amenities as the double rooms, plus a living/sleeping area and a coffee machine (2SS). Also available with a direct sea view (S2M).

A continental breakfast buffet is served daily from 7:30 AM to 10 AM, supplemented by a Cretan corner with regional products. An early bird breakfast is available on request.

Note on climate resilience fee

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which is to be paid by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, as of January 1, 2025, ranges from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day and room.
For stays during the high season from April 1 to October 31:
Category 1-2 stars: 2 Euro
Category 3 stars: 5 Euro
Category 4 stars: 10 Euro
Category 5 stars: 15 Euro
For stays during the low season from November 1 to March 31:
Category 1-2 stars: 0.50 Euro
Category 3 stars: 1.50 Euro
