Location

The Mythos Palace holiday hotel is located in Kavros directly on a gently sloping sandy beach, which has been awarded the "Blue Flag". The nearest town of Georgioupolis is only approx. 3 km away, and Rethymnon approx. 18 km away. Chania Airport is approx. 50 km away, while Heraklion Airport is approx. 100 km from the hotel.

The stylish, modern resort has 206 rooms, spread across a main building and three annexes. The main building houses a reception with a lobby, Wi-Fi (free throughout the resort), a satellite TV corner, the main restaurant and a themed restaurant, a bar with a large terrace, a jeweler, and a mini-market. The well-kept outdoor area features a beautiful freshwater pool with a sun terrace, a pool and beach bar, and a beach restaurant. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge by the pool and on the beach; gazebos can also be rented on the beach.

Deluxe Double Room

The spacious rooms feature a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, bathrobe and slippers, individually regulated air conditioning/heating, satellite TV with music channel, safe, Wi-Fi, bath towels and beach bag, ironing station, coffee/tea maker, minibar (included upon arrival and replenished every 4 days with 2 bottles of water, wine, beer, 4 soft drinks, and 2 juices), and a balcony or terrace with garden view (DD2).
Optionally available at a surcharge with side sea view (DDS/DXB/ID2) or for single occupancy (DD1).
For a 3-person occupancy, the sofa is used as an additional bed (approx. 185x75 cm).

Executive Double Room Sharing Pool

In addition to the same amenities as the double rooms, these rooms feature a Nespresso machine (capsules included), direct access to the shared pool, and a terrace with sun loungers, a sun umbrella, and garden view (XH2).
The shared pool is not supervised. Please pay special attention to your children when using this area and behave considerately.

Junior Suite Beachfront

The modernly furnished Junior Suites are slightly more spacious, located directly on the beach, and consist of a combined living and sleeping area. They have the same amenities as the Deluxe Double Rooms and a balcony with direct sea view (JB2).

Junior Suite Beachfront Private Pool

In addition to the same amenities as the Junior Suite Sea View, these rooms feature a private pool with a terrace and are located directly on the beach (JBS).

Villa Beachfront Private Pool

These villas have the same amenities as the Deluxe Double Rooms, consist of a bedroom, a living/sleeping area, a bathroom, and a private pool. The villas are located directly on the beach (V2, on request).

Continental early bird breakfast from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM, American-style breakfast buffet from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM (Sunday as sparkling wine breakfast), and continental late riser breakfast from 10:30 AM to 11 AM, all in the main restaurant.
Local and selected international alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as selected cocktails, draft beer, soft drinks, juices, and coffee specialties are available at the respective open bars from 9:30 AM to 12:00 AM (midnight).
At the Beach Restaurant Kyma, ice cream is available from 11 AM to 5:30 PM, and fresh fruit, cakes, and pastries from 12 PM to 6 PM.
Snacks such as cakes, pastries, and sweets are available at the Piscina Pool Bar from 11 AM to 5:30 PM.
Lunch is served as a buffet from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM in the main restaurant or from 12 PM to 3 PM in the Beach Restaurant Kyma.
Waffle creations, milkshakes, and ice cream are available at the Sweet Corner from 6 PM to 10:30 PM.
Dinner is served as a buffet with theme nights from 6:30 PM to 9 PM in the main restaurant or as a Greek buffet from 7 PM to 9:30 PM in the themed restaurant.
Every Sunday, there is a Special Dinner in the main restaurant from 6:30 PM to 9 PM, and occasionally a Cretan buffet in the Beach Restaurant (6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, reservation required one day in advance).
The themed restaurant and the Beach Restaurant Kyma are open on alternating evenings.
A light night buffet is available from 10 PM to 6:30 AM with soups, hot and cold dishes, non-alcoholic beverages, and refreshments.
Vegan and gluten-free meals are available upon request.

Information on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government is levying a climate resilience tax, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euros per day and room starting from 01.01.2025.
For stays during high season from April 1st to October 31st:
National Category 1-2 Stars: 2 Euros
National Category 3 Stars: 5 Euros
National Category 4 Stars: 10 Euros
National Category 5 Stars: 15 Euros
For stays during low season from November 1st to March 31st:
National Category 1-2 Stars: 0.50 Euros
