The unique location directly on the beach, not far from the village of Kalyves, makes Kiani Beach a holiday highlight. The dreamlike, gently sloping beach is right on your doorstep and invites you to enjoy a wonderful holiday. The distance to Chania airport is approx. 27 km, and to Heraklion airport approx. 130 km. The town of Chania, which is well worth seeing, is approx. 17 km away. Some shopping facilities, restaurants and bars are approx. 3 km away, and a bus stop is located approx. 100 m in front of the hotel.

The spacious complex with 247 rooms offers an indoor lobby with a 24-hour reception, library, TV lounge, lift, mini-market, a main restaurant, a restaurant with pool view, and a rooftop restaurant, as well as a pool and a beach bar. There is also a heated indoor pool. The pool area includes two pools and a children's pool with a small slide. Furthermore, the hotel's own garden serves as a place for optimal relaxation. Sunshades and sun loungers are available free of charge at the beach and at the pool. Pool towels can be borrowed free of charge. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the entire hotel complex.

The spacious rooms feature a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, toiletries, individually adjustable air conditioning, ceiling fan, safe, satellite TV, telephone, mini-fridge, kettle, and balcony or terrace (DSU/DSI). Optionally bookable with side sea view (DMS/DSI) or as a saver room (2US).

Superior Double Room Private Pool

The spacious rooms feature a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, toiletries, individually adjustable air conditioning, ceiling fan, safe, satellite TV, telephone, mini-fridge, kettle, and a terrace with a private pool (U2P).
The private pool is not monitored by a lifeguard; guests are requested to exercise caution and pay particular attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased safety risk for young children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for bookings of these room types.

Superior Family Room

The spacious rooms feature a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, toiletries, individually adjustable air conditioning, ceiling fan, safe, satellite TV, telephone, mini-fridge, kettle, and balcony or terrace. In addition, the rooms have a living/sleeping area with a sofa bed (visual separation, F2U). Optionally bookable with sea view (FMZ) or as a saver room (SSF).

Superior Family Room Private Pool

With the same features as the Superior Family Rooms, these also include a private pool (R2F).

The very spacious Family Rooms Type A consist of 2 family rooms with a connecting door. They are equipped with bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, toiletries, individually adjustable air conditioning, ceiling fan, safe, satellite TV, telephone, mini-fridge, kettle, and balcony or terrace (FIC).

Junior Suite

The spacious rooms feature a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, toiletries, individually adjustable air conditioning, ceiling fan, safe, satellite TV, telephone, mini-fridge, kettle, and balcony or terrace. In addition, the rooms have a living/sleeping area with a sofa bed (JS2). Optionally bookable with sea view (J2M).

Maisonette

The maisonettes, which extend over two floors, feature a bedroom and bathroom on the lower level and sleeping facilities for up to 4 people on the upper level. The rooms are connected by an open gallery and offer side sea views. Features include shower/WC, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, toiletries, individually adjustable air conditioning, ceiling fan, safe, satellite TV, telephone, mini-fridge, kettle, and balcony or terrace (M4, M5, M6)

Superior Maisonette

The Superior Maisonettes have the same features as the maisonettes, but include a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom on the lower floor, as well as an additional bathroom and a bedroom on the upper floor (2MI/MB).

The "Symposium" restaurant with its beautiful outdoor terrace offers a breakfast buffet (8-10:30 am) as well as lunch (1-3 pm) and dinner (7-9:30 pm), also in buffet form. Alternatively, meals can also be taken in buffet form at the pool restaurant. During the day (11 am-6 pm), sweet and savory snacks and ice cream are available. Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to the All Inclusive menu are included from 11 am to 11 pm at the respective open bars. This includes self-service coffee/tea, soft drinks, water, local wine, local beer, and local spirits.
Vegetarian dishes are available. Gentlemen are requested to wear long trousers for dinner.

Buffet with assorted appetizers including cheese cubes and bite-sized portions in glasses.

All Inclusive Plus

The All-Inclusive Plus package makes your holiday truly special. Guests receive additional premium alcoholic brand drinks, sparkling wine, alcoholic and non-alcoholic premium cocktails, local carbonated drinks, bottled house wine 375 ml (2 bottles per person per day), premium beer, fresh orange juice at breakfast and all day long at the pool and beach bar, branded self-service coffee/tea (espresso, cappuccino, hot chocolate, etc.), barista coffee (freddo cappuccino, Greek coffee, etc.), as well as a range of branded spirits such as whiskey, rum, gin, and more. Additionally, guests receive a discount in the rooftop restaurant, mini-market, dive center, on massages, and more. A welcome basket, 2 capsules per day for the espresso machine, and a daily bottle of water await you in your room. Wi-Fi is available at double speed.

Sports for a fee

Tennis can be used free of charge when booking All Inclusive Plus. In addition, various water sports are offered on the beach by local providers for a fee.

The "Kiani Kids Club" offers a varied programme for children six times a week. In addition, there is a mini-disco, a playground, two children's pools with a water slide, a children's buffet, a bouncy castle, and a playroom available.

Destination information

For stays starting from 01.01.2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on site, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and has been staggered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day and room since 01.01.2025.
