Location

The complex, which consists of several buildings, is surrounded by a well-kept garden and is located approximately 100 m from the sandy/pebbly beach, separated only by a narrow road. It is about 4 km to the old village of Gouves with its rustic taverns and kafenions. Heraklion Airport is approximately 20 km away.

Facilities

The family-friendly complex consists of a main building and six annexes with a total of 118 rooms and features a reception (24h), lobby, Wi-Fi (included), satellite TV corner, internet corner (for a fee), bar, cafeteria, restaurant, à-la-carte restaurant, and a mini-market. In the outdoor area, there is a freshwater swimming pool with a separate children's pool, sun terrace, and a pool/snack bar. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included at the pool; they are available at the beach for a fee. Parking spaces at the hotel are free of charge.

Superior Double Room

Features a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone, Wi-Fi (included), rental safe, mini-fridge, individually adjustable air conditioning/heating (included), as well as a balcony or terrace (DSU/DSB). Also available as Superior Double Room Economy (DSA, bookable until 2026, located in the semi-basement), for single use (DE/DSE), or with sea view (DMU).
(Additionally bookable under HERA89 as 2US/DSV/ESU). From 2027, the rooms are bookable as Super Saver rooms in the semi-basement (SSZ).

Deluxe Double Room

These rooms are slightly more spacious than the Superior Double Rooms. They feature different decor, a shower/WC, and a balcony. The safe is included (DD2).

Superior Family Room (HERA89)

With otherwise similar facilities, these feature two separate sleeping areas (F2U).

Information on climate resilience tax

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience tax, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euros per day and room starting January 1, 2025.
For stays during the high season (April 1 - October 31):
