Location

The 5-star Hotel Pilot Amphora welcomes guests aged 16 and over, located in the beautiful and popular resort of Georgioupolis. Taverns and restaurants are within walking distance. The sandy beach of Georgioupolis is only approx. 400 m from the hotel. The distance to Chania Airport is approx. 47 km and to Heraklion Airport approx. 104 km.

Facilities

The modern Hotel Pilot Amphora has a total of 30 rooms, a 24-hour reception, a restaurant and a lovely lounge bar by the freshwater swimming pool. In the outdoor area, the hotel is equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas, which can be used free of charge. At Georgioupolis beach, sun loungers and umbrellas are available for a fee, and at the sister hotel Pilot Beach, they are available free of charge. Wi-Fi is available free of charge within the complex.

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these rooms also feature a private pool and sun loungers (PPZ). The private pool is not supervised. Guests are requested to behave responsibly and pay special attention when using this area.

Maisonette

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these maisonettes feature a bedroom on the upper floor in an open-plan style and a living/sleeping area on the ground floor (M2).

Amphora Suite with private pool

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these suites feature a separate living/sleeping area with a sliding door and a private pool on the terrace (SP2). The private pool is not supervised. Guests are requested to behave responsibly and pay special attention when using this area.

Information on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government is levying a climate resilience fee, which is to be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room from 01.01.2025.
