Location

The luxurious Georgioupolis Suites holiday complex belongs to the Harpin hotel chain, which also includes the neighboring Georgioupolis Resort, and is situated approximately 250 m from the long, fine sandy beach, separated only by the national road (accessible via an underpass).
A free shuttle bus with a club car is available to the beach (upon request).
It is about 3 km to the village of Georgioupolis with various shopping and entertainment options, and approx. 700 m to the center of Kavros.
The famous Lake Kournas, the only natural freshwater lake in Crete, is about 3 km away.
Chania Airport is approx. 45 km away, and Heraklion Airport is approx. 101 km away.

Georgioupolis Suites features 104 units as well as a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a modern pool area with a Roof Garden bar, a Meze restaurant, and a "Sweet Corner" at the beach, as well as a beach bar (drinks at the bars are chargeable with Half Board, included with AI Plus).
Some facilities of the sister hotel Georgioupolis Resort (excluding the pools, pool bar, and main restaurant) such as entertainment, the SPA area, a mini-market, and an à-la-carte restaurant with a partially covered outdoor terrace can be used.
Amenities include a satellite TV corner, luggage room, Wi-Fi (included throughout the resort), main restaurant, and a grill/fish restaurant at the beach. In the spacious outdoor area, a water park with various slides and water features is available for guests of all ages.
Sunbeds, cushions, and umbrellas are available free of charge at the beach. Pool towels are available against a deposit (no deposit required from Summer 2027). Furthermore, there is a separate beach section with cozy gazebos (included) and drinks service (included with AI Plus).

Accommodation

Junior Suite

The comfortably furnished junior suites feature a bedroom with a king-size bed and a separate living area with a sofa bed, bathroom with walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, and toiletries, 2x individually adjustable air conditioning, fan, Wi-Fi (included), safe (included), 2x 46" smart satellite TV with HDMI connection, telephone, coffee and tea station, espresso machine (4 capsules daily per room), and a minibar (included for AI guests and filled daily with 2 cans of beer, 2 cans of soft drinks, 2 bottles of water, and 2 juices; replenishment for Half Board only for a fee). Laptop, tablet, iPad, e-book reader, or PlayStation can be borrowed against a deposit, subject to availability. Other amenities include a full-length mirror. All junior suites feature a terrace or balcony with a table and chairs (JS2).
Optionally bookable for single occupancy (JS1/J1P, only available with AI+) or for a limited quota and at a special rate as Junior Suite Type B (J2B) or also as Junior Suite (JSC). Optionally bookable with side sea view for an extra charge (J2S).

Junior Suite Sharing Pool

These newly built rooms offer the same features as the junior suites, plus direct access to the sharing pool (SUJ).
The sharing pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for cautious behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased safety risk for young children.
Therefore, for security reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen enforces a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Suite Private Pool Sea View

These suites offer the same features as the junior suites, plus a separate bedroom, a private pool, and sea view (IP2).
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for cautious behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased safety risk for young children.
Therefore, for security reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen enforces a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Meals

Half board

American breakfast is served from 7:30 to 10:00 and dinner from 18:30 to 21:30 in buffet style at the main restaurant.
Additionally, the main restaurant hosts various theme nights per week (fish, Asian, Gala Dinner, Greek, etc.). Optionally, dinner can be taken at one of the à-la-carte restaurants. A reservation is required for this.
Appropriate attire is requested for dinner.

All Inclusive

All Inclusive Plus

Breakfast (7:30-10:30), lunch (12:30-14:30), and dinner with regular theme nights (18:30-21:30), each in buffet style with show cooking. An early bird breakfast is offered from 7:00 to 7:30, and late risers receive breakfast from 10:00 to 11:00 at the beach bar.
Alternatively, dinner (19:00-21:00) is possible at the à-la-carte restaurant in the Georgioupolis Resort, at the Grill restaurant, or the "Meze" restaurant (reservation required). Depending on weather and occupancy, dinner may also be served during the fish night at the beach.
A midnight snack is offered from 22:30 to 0:00.
During the day, snacks are offered at the Suites pool/snack bar. Ice cream and pastries are also provided in the afternoon. The "Sweet Corner" at the beach is open from 12:00 to 16:00.
National and international alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included from 10:00 to 1:00 at the bars open at the time: soft drinks, water, soda, various juices, coffee, cappuccino, frappé, tea, beer, 4 types of white wine, 4 types of red wine, 2 types of rosé, ouzo, raki, brandy, vodka, gin, rum, tequila, whiskey, liqueurs, as well as selected long drinks and cocktails.
Selected drinks are included for All Inclusive Plus guests at the à-la-carte restaurants; a 20% discount applies to others.

For our younger guests, the sister hotel Georgioupolis Resort features a mini-club (0-3 years, under parental supervision), kids' club (3-12 years), a teens' club (13-17 years; 15.7.-31.8.), a children's playground with indoor and outdoor areas, 1 children's pool, high chairs in the restaurant, a children's buffet, as well as a diverse animation program with games, dances, quizzes, competitions, evening shows, musicals, and sketches.

Wellness

The Georgioupolis Resort houses a wellness center with a massage salon, nail studio, as well as a beauty salon for facial and beauty treatments. All treatments and facilities are available for a fee.
Use of the sauna and hammam is included (reservation required for both).
Use of the whirlpool is subject to a fee.
Massages, manicures/pedicures, and body treatments are also available for children (for a fee).
Modern spa area featuring a round hot tub, loungers, and ambient lighting.

Entertainment

International entertainment program during the day and in the evening (6 days per week) with sports, games, shows, and much more (at Georgioupolis Resort).
Every 2 weeks, a Cretan night with live music takes place (at Georgioupolis Resort).

Note on climate resilience tax

For stays from 1.1.2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience tax, to be paid by the guest locally, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 euros to 15 euros per day and room as of 1.1.2025.
