The comfortable Hotel Hydramis Palace is located directly on the sand and pebble beach of Kavros. Georgiopoulis is approx. 5 km away, Rethymnon approx. 20 km. Chania Airport is approx. 50 km and Heraklion Airport is approx. 98 km away.

The hotel, consisting of 8 buildings with a total of 213 rooms, offers a large reception area with a 24-hour reception, lounge with terrace, lifts, TV corner, internet corner (for a fee), lobby bar, mini-market, souvenir shop, boutique, restaurant, à la carte taverna, and pool bar. Wi-Fi is included in some public areas. The attractive outdoor area features a freshwater swimming pool with sun loungers and umbrellas included, and a separate children's pool. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available and included on the hotel's own beach.

Double Room

The tastefully and comfortably furnished rooms have a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, toiletries, air conditioning, safety deposit box (for a fee), flat-screen satellite TV, telephone, internet access, mini-fridge, and a balcony or terrace (D/D1K). Double rooms with side sea view (DMS/DIS) or double rooms with direct sea view (DM/DMI) are also available at an additional charge.

Single Room

These are double rooms for single use (DE/DEA). Single rooms with side sea view (DES) or direct sea view (DEM) are also available at an additional charge.

Double Room Seafront

These rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms and are located directly by the sea (RF2).

Double Room Private Pool

These rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms and offer access to a private pool (PPZ).
The private pool is not supervised. Please behave with care and pay special attention when using this area.

Family Room 2 Bedrooms

These rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms, plus an additional separate bedroom with 2 bathrooms, and are also located on the ground floor (2FZ).

Maisonette

These rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms and are arranged over two floors, with a living/sleeping area on the ground floor and a bedroom on the first floor (M2).

These rooms have a double bed or two single beds, bath or shower, balcony or terrace, TV, air conditioning, safe, and telephone (DMS).

Maisonette (HERB26)

All maisonette rooms are located on the 2nd floor of the main building. They open onto large balconies with panoramic views to the east or west. The ground floor has a living room, bathroom with bathtub, refrigerator, TV, air conditioning, telephone, and safe. The sofa in the living room can be converted into two single beds. The first floor has the master bedroom, bathroom with shower, TV, air conditioning, and telephone (2M).

Early breakfast (5-7:30 AM), breakfast (7:30-10 AM), lunch (12:30-2:30 PM), and dinner (6:30-9:30 PM) are served buffet-style in the main restaurant with themed evenings. Late breakfast from 10-10:30 AM. Alternatively, lunch can be enjoyed à la carte at the taverna (1-3 PM). Snacks such as pizza, sandwiches, salads, and finger food are available at the pool bar from 11 AM to 4 PM. Ice cream is served at the pool bar from 11 AM to 5 PM. From 4-5 PM, cake and pastries are also offered there. Night snacks such as popcorn and chips are also available at the pool bar from 10 PM to midnight. Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks such as beer, house wine, raki, ouzo, whisky, gin, vodka, rum, Campari, water, soft drinks, and coffee are included at the pool bar from 10 AM to 11 PM. Drinks at the beach bar are included from 10 AM to 6 PM.

Information on climate resilience contribution

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience contribution, payable by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, as of 01.01.2025, will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room.
