The hotel is located on a hillside set in beautiful gardens, offering a magnificent view of the bay of Chersonissos. The beach is approx. 500 m away via an underpass, and the center of Chersonissos is approx. 1.5 km away. The distance to Heraklion Airport is approx. 25 km.

The complex has a total of 730 rooms and features a lobby with reception, bars, satellite TV, restaurants with a children's corner, two open-air restaurants, a mini-market, a souvenir shop, and a hairdresser. Wi-Fi is included throughout the complex. The well-kept outdoor area features 3 swimming pools (with a mixture of fresh and salt water) with a separate children's pool with a small water park, as well as a sun terrace with a pool/snack bar. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included at the pool. Bath towels are available for a fee and deposit.

Double room Superior

These rooms are completely renovated and, while otherwise featuring the same amenities as the double rooms, offer more modern furnishings with a bath or shower/WC, coffee/tea station, 32-inch satellite TV, bathrobes, and slippers (DSU).
Alternatively, these can also be booked with a sea view (DMU/DIM), with a sea view on an upper floor (XO2), or for single use (DSE).

Family room

The family rooms consist of two sleeping areas separated by a sliding door with a double bed and 2 single beds, and feature a bath/WC, hairdryer, rental safe, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, refrigerator, air conditioning, and a balcony or terrace (DF2).

Family room Superior

The completely renovated Superior family rooms consist of a living/bedroom with two single beds and a separate bedroom with a double bed, connected by a door. They feature a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, air conditioning, safe (for a fee), 32" satellite TV, Wi-Fi, refrigerator, coffee/tea station, and a balcony or terrace (F2U).
Alternatively available with sea view (FMZ) or slightly larger as type B with three single beds (BFS).

Suite Whirlpool

These modern suites offer a double bed and two single beds, as well as two bathrooms with a shower, bathrobes, slippers, and a hairdryer. Furthermore, the rooms feature air conditioning, a rental safe, 32" satellite TV, Wi-Fi, a refrigerator, a coffee/tea station, and a balcony with a whirlpool and sea view (S2J).
The whirlpool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for prudent behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for small children.
For this reason, for safety reasons, schauinsland-reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Breakfast (7:30-10 AM), lunch (12:30-2:30 PM), and dinner (6:30-9:30 PM) in buffet style. Late riser breakfast from 10-11 AM at the "Artemis" snack bar. Optionally, once per weekly stay, a Greek breakfast can be enjoyed at the Kafeneio (reservation required). Once per weekly stay, dinner can be taken à la carte at the Kafeneio or at the Asian restaurant "Imperial Sakura Savor" (reservation required). Snacks such as pizza, toast, and popcorn are available at the "Artemis Street Food Bar" and the "Dimitra Burger & Pizza Bar" from 10 AM-9:30 PM. Local and selected international alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available from 10 AM-1 AM at the respective open bars.

Destination information Climate Resilience Fee

For stays from Jan 1, 2018, the Greek government has introduced a climate resilience fee, which is to be paid by the guest locally, comparable to a tourist tax. The amount is based on the type/category of accommodation and ranges from 0.50 Euros to 15 € per day and room, effective from Jan 1, 2025.

From Heraklion Airport, take the new national road towards Agios Nikolaos. Follow this road until you reach the exit for Stalida-Hersonnissos. Turn left towards Hersonnissos (to the right leads to Stalida-Agios Nikolaos).
Follow this road for approx. 300 m and you will see the Royal & Imperial Belvedere hotel complex on your left.
