The Anissa Beach Hotel, equally popular with families and couples, is ideally located in Anissaras, separated from the long sand/pebble beach only by the promenade path. The lively town of Hersonissos, with its numerous restaurants, bars, entertainment, and shopping opportunities, is only about 4 km away. A public bus service is available about 800 m away. The distance to Heraklion Airport is approx. 23 km.

The sprawling, beautifully landscaped hotel complex features a total of 315 rooms, divided between the main building and the two-story "Knossos" annex, which is situated in the garden. The main building houses a lobby with 24-hour reception, lobby bar, Wi-Fi (included throughout the complex), the main restaurant "La Pergola", a souvenir shop, a boutique, a jeweler, and a hairdresser. In the expansive, flourishing garden that extends to the beach, there is a mini-market, the buffet restaurant "La Veranda" (lunch and afternoon coffee/tea time), the Greek tavern "Elia", an Italian à-la-carte restaurant "Peccato Divino", the "Steak Corner" restaurant, a pizza station, and a crêperie. A small Kafenion invites you to linger. Around the freshwater swimming pool with a separate children's pool and pool bar, a sun terrace and many sunbathing areas under palm trees on the surrounding lawns invite you to relax. Near the sea, guests can meet at the street bar; the wine bar located next to it is the ideal place for romantic evenings overlooking the sunset. A spa area with an indoor pool rounds off the offer. Sun loungers, parasols, and beach towels are available free of charge by the pool, in the garden area, and on the beach.

Superior Double Room

Renovated in summer 2025, the rooms feature a walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, air conditioning, flatscreen satellite TV, telephone, Wi-Fi, rental safe, coffee/tea station, minibar incl. daily refill (soft drinks, still mineral water, beer), welcome gift, farewell gift, as well as a balcony or terrace (DSU). Optionally bookable with sea view (DMU) for an extra charge, or for single use (DSE/DEA).

Comfort Superior Double Room Garden View

With the same facilities as the Superior Double Room, they also feature a sofa bed, bathroom/WC with a separate walk-in shower, are more spacious, and were also renovated in summer 2025 (2CD/ACD). Optionally bookable with sea view (CM) for an extra charge.
Also optionally bookable for single use (1CD).

Super Saver Room

Feature shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, flatscreen satellite TV, telephone, Wi-Fi, rental safe, mini-fridge, and balcony or terrace (SSZ).

Suite

The Suite Garden View is a Schauinsland-Reisen original and was newly renovated in summer 2026. Featuring the same amenities as the Superior Double Room, they include a large open-plan sleeping area for four people, a bathroom/WC with a separate walk-in shower, and a balcony (S2).
Alternatively, the suites can be booked with a garden view (SA) or sea view (S2M), each with a separate bedroom. These were already renovated in 2025.

Suite Private Pool

With the same amenities as the suites, these feature a private pool (heatable for a fee) and were also renovated in summer 2025 (SP2).
The private pool is not monitored by a lifeguard. We request cautious behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for young children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Meals

Half board

All meals buffet style.
Breakfast and dinner in the main restaurant "La Pergola".
Alternatively, dinner can be taken once a week in the tavern "Elia", the à-la-carte restaurant "Peccato Divino", or the "Steak Corner".
Wearing an identification bracelet is mandatory throughout the stay.
Drinks are not included with dinner.

All Inclusive

All Inclusive

American breakfast buffet (7:30-10:00) in the main restaurant "La Pergola". A continental late-riser breakfast is offered from 10:00-10:30, and early continental breakfast from 5:00-7:00 (pre-order required the previous day).
Lunch at "La Veranda" (12:30-15:00).
Dinner in the main restaurant "La Pergola" (18:30-21:30). Alternatively, dinner can be taken à la carte in the tavern "Elia" (drinks included), at the Italian restaurant "Peccato Divino", or in the "Steak Corner" (drinks not included in either, once per week, reservation required).
At the crêperie, crêpes, waffles, hot dogs, and ice cream are available free of charge from 10:00-18:00. Freshly baked pizza is also offered at the pizzeria from 10:00-18:00. Traditional Greek drinks and "Mezedes" are also offered at the Kafenion from 10:00-18:00. From 16:00-17:00, coffee/tea time in the "La Veranda" restaurant with cakes and pastries.
Local and selected international non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks are offered from 9:00-23:00 at the currently open bar.

Ultra All Inclusive

In addition to the services included in All Inclusive, the following amenities are provided: Dinner can be taken an unlimited number of times in the tavern "Elia", at the à-la-carte restaurant "Peccato Divino", or in the Steak Corner (reservation required the previous day). Freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast, fish menu (1x per stay), special Ultra-AI drinks menu with further selected international alcoholic branded drinks. The Ultra-AI service is available until 00:00.

Note on climate resilience levy

For stays from 01.01.2018, the Greek government is levying a climate resilience tax, which must be paid by the guest on site, comparable to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 euros to 15 euros per day and room from 01.01.2025.
