Location

The Anthoula Village Hotel is perfect for all holidaymakers who appreciate Cretan hospitality and smaller hotels. The hotel is family-run and offers a wonderful proximity to the beach (approx. 200m away). The nearest tourist center is only about 350m away, and the island's capital, Heraklion, is about 21km away. Local buses are well-suited for exploring the island's beautiful towns and beaches; the nearest bus stop is about 150m away. Heraklion Airport (HER) is approximately 22km away.

Facilities

The cozy and traditional hotel has 43 rooms spread across a main building and 4 annexes. The hotel features a beautiful garden with a sun terrace and a swimming pool. Guests wishing to spend a day by the pool can enjoy cool drinks from the pool bar. Delicious breakfast and dinner are served in the hotel's own restaurant. Guests planning to explore Crete by rental car can park their car for free at the hotel.

Note on Climate Resilience Contribution

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience contribution, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and will be tiered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day per room from January 1, 2025.
For stays during the high season from April 1 to October 31:
Category 1-2 Stars: 2 Euros
Category 3 Stars: 5 Euros
Category 4 Stars: 10 Euros
Category 5 Stars: 15 Euros
For stays during the low season from November 1 to March 31:
Category 1-2 Stars: 0.50 Euros
