In the heart of Crete, in the picturesque village of Agia Pelagia, the 4-star Happy Cretan Suites hotel is a true retreat for those seeking peace and romance with breathtaking views. The hotel complex is situated on a hill overlooking the bay of Agia Pelagia, approx. 1.5 km from the beach.
Due to its central location, Agia Pelagia is an ideal starting point for various excursions around the island of Crete. The south, east, west, and north of the island can all be easily reached in between 25 and 45 minutes by car.
Heraklion Airport is located approx. 22 km away.
We recommend renting a car to explore the beautiful surrounding area.

The high-quality hotel complex is a Schauinsland-Reisen-Original and offers an ideal retreat for relaxing holidays. The hotel features 49 elegant rooms, which have been carefully designed with luxurious details to offer unparalleled comfort. In addition to a lobby area with a 24-hour reception and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, there is a buffet restaurant and an à la carte restaurant (for a fee) serving a variety of Cretan specialties. The complex also features two pools, including a saltwater pool with sun loungers and parasols, as well as a cocktail bar (for a fee).
Wi-Fi is included throughout the entire complex.

Double Room

The modernly furnished double rooms feature a double bed and a rain shower/WC with hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, bathrobes, and luxurious toiletries. Additionally, the rooms are equipped with satellite TV, safe, air conditioning, mini-fridge, electric kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, and a balcony or terrace with a garden view (D).

Junior Suite Sea View

The luxurious Junior Suites with Sea View feature the same amenities as the double rooms, with the addition of a sea view, a seating area, and a SPA bathtub (for max. 1 person) with hydro-massage in the living/sleeping area (J2M).
The SPA bathtub is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for cautious behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for young children.
Therefore, at Schauinsland-Reisen, a minimum age of 6 years applies for bookings of these room types for safety reasons.

Junior Suite Whirlpool Sea View

The luxurious Junior Suites with Whirlpool and Sea View feature the same amenities as the Junior Suites with Sea View, but include a terrace with a private whirlpool instead of a SPA bathtub in the living/sleeping area (JJ2).
The whirlpool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for cautious behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for young children.
Therefore, at Schauinsland-Reisen, a minimum age of 6 years applies for bookings of these room types for safety reasons.

Suite Sea View

The Suites with Sea View are more spacious and feature the same amenities as the double rooms, plus a combined living/sleeping area with a comfortable sofa bed, a separate bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with a bathtub, and two balconies with a view of the Cretan Sea (S2M/SIM).
Also available for single occupancy (S1M).

Cave Suite Private Pool

The Cave Suites, newly built in 2023, offer plenty of privacy and, thanks to their size and dreamy location, very special comfort. In addition to amenities similar to the double rooms, they feature a bathroom with a bathtub and shower/WC, a 50" Smart TV with streaming services, and a furnished terrace with a seating area, sun loungers, and a private infinity pool (SP2).
Also available with sea view (IP2).
